Those who brunch will be treated to an afternoon menu of networking, live performance arts, skills exchange, and debate, all overflowing with Black Boy Joy, and shaped lovingly by us, for us:
Take part in a personal development workshop, share a skill, learn something new, find a new hobby, refresh an old skill, be one of the Boys in the Band, court and document different opinion and experience by participating in a debate, and contributing to a soapbox video, meet about a meetup, share your two penn’oth for nowt . . . ‘only connect’.
Would you or your organisation like to offer an hour-long workshop – perhaps as an intro to your brand ,a taster for a longer course, to recruit new staff or volunteers, or simply to be part of the fun? Click here to pitch your idea
A full list of available workshops will be shared a week before Brunch – those who brunch can sign up online or decide when you arrive.
Brunch is served! Over brunch, we emphasise connection and encourage diners to mingle and mix – a space for inter-generational networking, for making connections for support and action. This month, there are 60 spaces for brunch – with an emphasis on nutritious, sustainably sourced meals from across the African diaspora.
Are you a foodpreneur? We’d love for Brunch to support food businesses that are led by Black and/or queer owners – get in touch
Delight in our monthly entertainment, arts, and current affairs show. Starting with the best in Black queer short film, presented by guest hosts, and backed by a live band, those who brunch will join talented podcasters, top-notch performers, and share in the wit and wisdom of Black queer excellence.
Think you should be on the Black men Who Brunch stage? – tell us why, shoot your shot
It wouldn’t be our revolution if we couldn’t dance. The No Tea, Tea Dance kicks-off with a guest set of lifetime faves from our ‘Desert Island DJ’ followed by up-and-coming new DJ talent from the Shade Free crew to end the weekend in style, without making Monday mornings any worse than they already are.
We will record a live podcast, create video together, and livestream some workshops and performances.
The BlackOut Hub – our new community app.
Download The Hub for FREE entry to the next Brunch, and priority tickets to other BlackOut events, and those of our partners.
