<p>Brighton Pride has been a very popular gay Pride event in the UK since 1991. Brighton &amp; Hove Pride is an exceptionally friendly event and one of Brighton's most popular weekends, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from around the UK and beyond. It's one of the UK's biggest and best Pride events.</p>
<h3>When is Brighton Pride 2024?</h3>
<p>Brighton Pride 2024 is set to take place from the 2nd to the 5th of August. The main event to attend will be Fabuloso in Preston Park on Saturday 3rd of August (this will be the biggie!). The Sunday Fabuloso in Preston Park on the 4th will also be huge, although less busy than the Saturday as a lot of out-of-towners will have headed home.</p>
<h3>Who will be headlining Brighton Pride 2024?</h3>
<p>Brighton Pride will be headlined by <strong>Girls Aloud</strong> (Saturday) and <strong>Mika</strong> (Sunday) in Preston Park. Other artists performing across the weekend at this year's event include Billy Porter, Sophie Ellis-Bextor (of Saltburn fame!), S Club, Gabrielle, Bjorn Again and Danny Beard. There will also be a number of other tents and stages.<br><br>There's always a lot of anticipation regarding Brighton Pride's headline act. Previous years have seen Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera take to the stage. Mariah Carey herself was even due to headline before Miss Rona (remember her?) came along and cancelled everything.&nbsp;<br><br>The spectacular parade usually begins at Hove Lawns at 11:00 and continues through the town towards Preston Park. Expect plenty of colourful costumes, performances from top artists and a whole host of club nights. Don't miss out on the Fabuloso in the Park event at Preston Park, which includes great headliners year after year - previous years have seen&nbsp;<strong>Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue </strong>and <strong>Christina Aguilera </strong>take to the stage.</p>
<h2>What time is the pride parade in Brighton?</h2>
<p>The parade usually begins around 11am. It goes on for a few hours so you don't need to stay for the whole thing. It's worth heading into town relatively early if you want to get a good pitch: it will be crazy busy. The population of Brighton roughly doubles during pride as so many people visit.</p>
<h2>Do you need a ticket for Brighton Pride?</h2>
<p>Brighton and Hove Pride has established itself as one of the world's biggest and best gay Pride events. Tickets do sell out so best to book early. The event was free back in the day but now you will need tickets to attend Fabuloso and the street parties. The parade is free to attend.</p>

<p>It's best to book early as hotels fill up for Brighton Pride and prices will be inflated. Brighton Pride is one of the UK's biggest and most popular gay pride festivals.

East Sussex

This event will help launch Queer the Pier and LGBT+ History Month. There'll be performances in different parts of the Museum, including award-winning dance duo Thick and Tight along with performance artists Bird LaBird and Lasana Shabazz. Brighton gay nightlife stalwart Boogaloo Stu will do a live crafts presentation. DJ Affy will be spinning the decks.
