Church and Wellesley Village is nestled at the intersection of (surprisingly) Church and Wellesley, and is lined with bars, nightclubs, shops and restaurants.

Art and culture is a huge part of The Village's identity so you'll also find galleries, installations and theatre dotted around amongst nightlife hotspots.

An artsy bohemian paradise and home to one of our favorite hotels, The Gladstone.

Queen St W is lined with independent and boutique stores, delicious cafes and culture. There's also a few cocktail bars around if you're up for an interesting experience.

Why this hotel? Very popular gay hotel. Hosts queer parties. Designed by artists.

Often called Gaystone as it's so gay-friendly, this hotel is quite an institution. If you book during Pride you'll get complimentary access to many Pride events.

This hotel is also an art and design hub. Each of the 37 rooms were designed by artists and have a unique style and charm.

This is Toronto's oldest continually operating hotel, but its style and ethos are very progressive.

They have on-site drag karaoke and host regular queer parties - you're totally sold, aren't you?

Even if you don't stay here, The Gladstone is an absolute MUST-GO for gay travelers in Toronto, and there's also great shopping and culture attractions around.

The heart of Toronto has so much to offer.

There's plenty of life here, culture and eateries in the day and bopping nightclubs in the evenings. The high streets are lined with boutique stores, and there are several huge shopping malls to take advantage of.

Most of the gay culture stays in Church + Wellesley, but a lot of the younger gay scene will come here to party.

Located in the heart of Toronto's entertainment district and close to the gay nightlife, Bisha is one of the best hotels in town. The Harbourfront is just a 15-minute walk away.

Bisha is extremely trendy - one of the floors was designed by Lenny Kravitz (yes, the singer). There are 96 rooms and five stories. You'll find an impressive combination of boutique intimacy and exquisite decor. Black marble, gold and crushed velvet greet you in the lobby as you walk in. It's like an art gallery - or perhaps a pop art gallery. You'll notice Warhol prints and pictures of Grace Jones and Madonna on the walls.

The rooms come with patent-leather sofas, prints and photos on the walls and Nero Marquina marble in the bathrooms. It's very rock-and-roll. You could imagine Grace Jones or Madonna staying here.
