Gay Group Trip: Discover Argentina

Argentina is a country of great beauty, adventure and drama. You’ll get a taste of all three on this gay group trip. Exploring the faded glamour of Buenos Aires, you’ll visit Evita’s balcony where she gave her famous “Descamisados” speech. Over in El Calafate, you’ll see the great glaciers of Los Glaciares National Park. You’ll also attend a tango show.

Group Trip Breakdown

Buenos Aires

Day 1 And 2: Buenos Aires

You’ll be transferred to our centrally located hotel near the famous Recoleta Cemetery. On our city tour we’ll visit Plaza de Mayo which contains many of the city’s most iconic buildings, including La Casa Rosada, the seat of Argentina’s government. The balcony of this building is the famous setting for Evita’s final speech and it’s also where Madonna sang Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.


Day 3: El Calafate

We’ll transfer to El Calafate and discover one of the world’s only advancing glaciers at Perito Moreno Glacier. Evening at leisure.


Day 4 And 5: El Chalten

Today we’ll transfer to El Chalten, a town that’s become the unofficial trekking capital of Argentina. As we make our way into the forest, we’ll be greeted with incredible views of Fitz Roy and Torre Mountains.

Overnight in a 21-room lodge overlooking Fitz Roy.

We’ll also sail down Lake Viedma and our guide will take us for a tour of the glacier.


Day 6: Ushuaia

El Calafate is the southernmost city in the world and it’s located on the islands of Tierra del Fuego. Our hotel is located on Ushuaia’s main commercial street. Dinner at a local restaurant.


Day 7: Hiking Or Ranch Tour

You can select from either of these activities.

Lago Esmeralda Trek

This is a 7-hour trek in Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Harberton Ranch Excursion

You’ll be taking a boat ride along the Beagle Channel. If the weather is suitable we’ll visit a penguin island.


Day 8: Ushuaia

Today we’ll be visiting the main part of Tierra del Fuego National Park which is near to the Chilean border. We’ll take a hike and then sail a catamaran down the Beagle Channel to Ushuaia harbour.


Day 9: Buenos Aires

We’ll fly back to the big city for our final night in Argentina. Tonight we’ll dine in a top restaurant and watch one of the best tango shows in Buenos Aires, the native home of the tango.


Day 10: Departure

After some last minute shopping, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
