The group trip largely covers Eastern Sicily, where we'll explore the fine beaches, baroque palaces and Mount Etna. With a like-minded group, you'll go on boat cruises around the island, indulge in Italy's finest cuisine and visit the tallest volca0 in Europe.

Group Trip Breakdown

Sicily
Day 1: Arriving
Welcome to Sicily! We begin in the centre of Catania, where you will be welcomed by our hosts. They will help you get settled and brief you on the adventures to come. We'll share a lovely welcome dinner and then take you out for a drink in Catania's.

Day 2: Catania
On your first full day, you will be introduced to Catania on a guided tour. Walking through the Roman Baths, Urniso Castle and much more, we will become acquainted with the architecture and history of the city.

The rest of the day is to be enjoyed at your own leisure.

Day 3: Mount Etna
Today we take on Mount Etna! Hiking a modest 2,000 meters above sea level, we'll be surrounded by tremendous views.

After our hike, we will enjoy a local lunch and then some downtime to continue exploring or have a post-hike rest. In the evening, we'll enjoy the finest pizza Sicily has to offer.

Day 4: Taormina
Today we make our way to the gorgeous city of Taormina and go for a walking tour. We'll pass throw the astonishing hidden gardens and famous Greek theatre of Taormina.

Later in the day, we will cruise along the Mediterranean sea, seeing the seaside sights. Such as Sirens Bay, the Cave of Love and the Blue Grotto.

Day 5: Syracuse
Next on our itinerary is the beautiful Syracuse. Again, we familiarise ourselves with Syracuse on a walking tour. Touring through the Archaeological park, we'll learn the history of Syracuse.

After our historical tour, we'll head to the beach! Feel free to stroll, shop or relax on this leisurely after0on.

Day 6: 0to
Onward and upward to the picturesque town of 0to. The Late Baroque architecture has secured the city UNESCO World Heritage status! Located in a sprawling valley, the landscapes of 0to are a sight to behold.

Day 7: Syracuse
Day at leisure. Spend the day soaking up the sun and then we'll gather for a farewell meal.

Day 8: Farewell
After breakfast, we will say our goodb1! You'll be transferred to the airport for your return flight.

Further Information

You’ll be sailing in style on the Lord of the Glens, a splendid Scottish cruise ship. It’s an elegant seafaring yacht that can sail through the Caledonian Canal but also sail the Atlantic. This will be an all LGBT trip of no more than 54 guests. Expect a Scottish breakfast every morning and nightly entertainment.
