Group Trip Breakdown
Day 1: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi where a guide will meet you and escort you to your elegant New Delhi hotel. Spend this afternoon at your leisure, exploring or simply relaxing, before a busy day tomorrow.
Day 2: Delhi
Today will be spent exploring bustling Delhi with a full-day tour. Our tour begins in Old Delhi at the Red Fort, after which we will continue to India’s largest mosque, Jama Masjid.
Days 3 and 4: Agra and the Taj Mahal
This morning will be spent driving to Agra, home to contemporary Mughal style temples and buildings. This evening we will follow the Mughal Heritage Trail, giving you an insight into life in the Kacchpura Village. Prepare to see the iconic Taj Mahal for the first time from the other side of the River Yamuna. On day 4 wake up bright and early to witness a stunning sunrise. After a serene early morning start, we’ll venture onward to the Agra Fort.
Days 5 and 6: Ranthambore and Tigers
Enjoy a tasty breakfast before continuing to Fatehpur Sikri, a stunning attraction built in 1569. From here we travel to Bharatpur for lunch. This afternoon take a relaxing train ride to Sawai Madhopur, the entry point to the famous Ranthambore National Park. We will spend the next two nights here in a converted hunting lodge.
Days 7, 8 and 9: Jaipur
Have breakfast at the lodge before the three and a half hour drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival you’ll be checked into a luxury hotel, followed by a tour of the “Pink City”. Throughout your time in Jaipur you’ll have the chance to visit the Maharaja’s walled Palace. Next, we will be stopping at the observatory of Jantar Mantar, home to the oldest astronomical instruments in India. Lastly, you will visit the Amber Fort, in the Jaipur countryside. Here you will have a Holi-focused tour, full of colourful celebrations.
Days 10 and 11: Udaipur
Prepare for a 7-hour journey across the Rajasthan countryside to Udaipur, one of the most romantic places in the country. Here you can explore the City Palace and take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. On the last night of our trip we will have a group farewell dinner.
