Group Trip Breakdown

Day 1: Arrival

You’ll be transferred from the airport to our first hotel. We’ll have a welcome dinner in the evening.

Day 2: Caverns And Temples

In the morning we’ll set out on a mild hike in the countryside. We’ll then visit the ancient temples of Mnajdra Temple and Hagar Qim. After visiting the famous Blue Grotto, we’ll head to Hypogeum, a 5000-year-old temple.

Day 3: Valetta

Valetta, Malta’s tiny capital city, is the European Capital of Culture for 2018. We’ll explore on of Europe’s oldest working theatres, the Baroque Manoel Theater, and also the Hospital of the Knights of St. John, one of Malta’s greatest buildings.

We’ll have lunch at one of the best restaurants on the island. Then, we’ll take an elevator ride to Custom House and take a cruise along the Grand Harbour.

Day 4: Southern Lace

Today we’ll learn about Maltese artisanal trades, such as lacemaking – a trade associated with Malta since the 16th-century. We’ll also go for a wine tasting session at the family-owned San Niklaw Estate winery, and then have lunch in a fishing village.

Evening at leisure.

Day 5: Dingli Cliffs And Mdina

The Dingli Cliffs are the highest point of Malta. From here we’ll head to Misraħ Għar il-Kbir and discover ancient tracks built around 2000 BC. They may have facilitated the trade routes in the Bronze Age, but no one knows quite what purpose they served.

We’ll then visit Mdina and Rabat and then have a Maltese lunch on a farm in the countryside.

Day 6: Gozo

This morning we’ll try our hand at quad biking on the island of Gozo. We’ll have a picnic, go kayaking along the coast, explore the island’s caves and then dine at Xlendi Bay.
