Group Trip Breakdown

Day 1: International Travel Line
Travelling to New Zealand is such a distance, it's practically time travel! Crossing the International Date Line may cause your first day of the trip to actually be your second, as the invisible date line determines when a calendar day begins or ends.

Day 2: Auckland
Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to our luxury hotel in the centre of the city. You'll have some time to unwind after your long journey. In the evening we'll have a welcome dinner and discuss the adventures we have planned.

Day 3: Rotorua
This morning we'll travel by coach to the Glow Worm Caves in Waitomo. In the caves you'll see speleothems and fossil remains, all lit up by the wondrous glow of the glow worms. We'll also head to the Cave of Spirit to explore it's chambers.

Later, we'll drive to the cultural heart of the native Maori culture, Rotorua which is built on an active geothermal field and is surrounded by geysers, mud pools and hot springs. Then, we'll check into our luxury hotel.

Day 4: Rotorua
This morning will visit the spectacular Te Puia in Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. Our guide will show us the traditional arts and crafts, while we're surrounded by gushing waters and bubbling mud pools.

Then onto a private tour of Ohinemutu. Starting with a traditional welcome, we'll be privileged to hear the tales of Maori history.

Day 5: Rotoura, Nelson and Kaiteriteri
In the morning we transfer to Rotorua airport where we'll catch a one-hour flight to the sunshine capital, Nelson. Surrounded by sandy beaches and mountai0us landscapes, this is the centre of New Zealand's arts scene.

We'll be staying in the luxury eco-resort with pa0ramic views of Abel Tasman National Park and Kaiteriteri Beach. The evening is all yours to explore the stunning surroundings.

Day 6: Kaiteriteri
This morning, as we sail into the park, our guide will teach us about the impact of early settler activity and Maori history.

You have the chance to try kayaking in the sandy bays of deserted beaches. We provide breakfast and we'll have lunch on board.

Day 7: Kaiteriteri to Blenheim
In the morning we'll drive to Belheim along the Richmond ranges, where much of New Zealand's finest wines are produced. There are over 70 wineries and many boutique breweries. Complete with cafes and restaurants, this place is truly a gourmet's paradise. We will live our gourmet dream over a lunch at a local winery, and then attend a wine tasting session at the prestigious Cloudy Bay winery.

We'll be staying in the heart of the wine region.
Queenstown
Day 8: Queenstown
Today we'll fly to the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown. Our central hotel overlooks the LAke Wakatipu. In the evening you'll have the leisure to explore the local bars and shopping areas.
Milford Sound
Day 9: Milford Sound
Milford Sound is a must-see when in New Zealand. The mountain ranges are peppered with remarkable rainforests and waterfalls and are k0wn as the 8th wonder of the world. We'll fly by light aircraft over the alpine scenery. Then, we'll board our luxury vessel and cruise along the fjord to the Tasman Sea.

In the after0on, we'll have the finest jet boat experience, where we'll experience buzzes of adrenaline as we shoot along the Shotover river Canyons.

Day 10: Day at Leisure in Queenstown
This is your day at Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, to do whatever you wish! From gold mining, to golfing, to cruising Lake Wakatipu, there's 0 shortage of things to do.

Today you will bid us farewell and be transferred to the airport for your flight home.

Further Information

You’ll be sailing in style on the Lord of the Glens, a splendid Scottish cruise ship. It’s an elegant seafaring yacht that can sail through the Caledonian Canal but also sail the Atlantic. This will be an all LGBT trip of no more than 54 guests. Expect a Scottish breakfast every morning and nightly entertainment.
