Visit one of Asia’s most cultural locations on this Thailand gay group trip. On this Thailand tour you will see breathtaking islands and cities alongside fellow LGBT+ travellers. You’ll also get the chance to relax and unwind on the country’s famous platinum beaches.
Upon arrival in Thailand you’ll be transferred to a luxury hotel, after which you’ll have the option of unwinding at the spa.
This evening, a group welcome reception will be held on the Chao Phraya River. Later, we will enjoy some great Thai food overlooking the famous Wat Arun.
From here, your Thailand adventure begins. Early risers can enjoy serene yoga by the river, after which we’ll join the monks in a daily ritual of food and gift-giving. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll explore the city’s waterways. Next, we’ll take a sightseeing pause at the famous Wat Arun, otherwise known as the Temple of Dawn. Our next spot of interest is the Wat Kanlayanamit Temple Pier, where monks of the temple will bless us.
After a busy day of sightseeing we’ll enjoy lunch as a group, after which you’ll get to visit the stunning Grand Palace, home to the Emerald Buddha. Our last stop of the day is the Queen Sirkit Museum which houses the Queen’s Pierre Balmain gowns.
Today’s destination is the Silom neighbourhood, home to local market stands and tasty street food dishes. After exploring the local market we’ll ride through the Chinatown district, after which you’ll get to sample coconut ice cream. Next, we’ll visit a famous mango and sticky rice shop in the old city.
Lastly, a visit to the 200-year old Nanglerng Market, which offers 27 acres worth of stalls. After a busy day, return to the hotel before enjoying a Michelin Star street food lunch experience. The rest of the afternoon is to be spent at your leisure.
After exploring Thailand sufficiently, we’ll travel to Sukhothai. From here you’ll be taken to your centrally located hotel. After checking in you can spend some time by the pool or opt for a relaxing spa treatment at the hotel.
Tonight we’ll dine as a group at a local restaurant.
Enjoy a tasty breakfast this morning, before we head on to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sukhothai Historical Park.
After visiting the famous White Buddha of Wat Sri Chum we’ll have a group lunch at a local eatery. Next, we’ll travel to Thung Luang Pottery Village. Once we’ve explored the handicrafts of the pottery village, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. Tonight we dine at one of the city’s best restaurants.
This morning we’ll be travelling to Lampang, home to many impressive temples including the Wat Phra.
On the way to our next destination we will pause at Ban Sao Nak, a traditional Thai teak house. Next, we’ll continue our drive to the culture-filled city of Chiang Mai.
End the day with some R&R at our city-based hotel.
This morning will be spent exploring the idyllic Mae Kampong Village. Here you will be met by a local villager, who will guide you through the community forest before leading you to a picturesque waterfall. Lunch today will be enjoyed at a local eatery, after which you’ll receive a 2 hour massage.
Dinner tonight will be prepared by you, alongside some experienced locals.
Begin your day with a wholesome breakfast before we set off for Waroros Market by traditional trishaw ride.
After arriving at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, we’ll begin our hefty climb (309 steps) to the temple – fear not, as a tram is also available to take visitors to the temple. A private vehicle will then take us to the Patara Elephant Farm, where you’ll spend a day surrounded by one of Asia’s most majestic creatures.
Finally, a private vehicle will transfer you back to the hotel. Dinner tonight is optional; those who wish can enjoy fine French cuisine at an award-winning restaurant. Alternatively, dine independently.
Today we check out of our Chiang Mai hotel, after which a guide will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight to Koh Samui. Upon arrival in Koh Samui, a local tour guide and driver will take you to the hotel.
This evening will be spent at your leisure; alternatively, enjoy an optional spa trip to Tamarind Springs.
Wake up with an invigorating yoga session at the hotel, before spending the day at your leisure. Otherwise, an optional excursion to Angthong National Marine Park can be enjoyed.
We’ll spend our last night as a group having a delicious farewell meal and drinks.
