“Not sure how thus place got 4 stars. But the cleanliness of this place is really off putting. The toilets are so disgusting and not scrubbed for years. The stench from the maze comes all the way to first floor. And when u go into the rooms and switch the lights on, u get to see graffiti smeared with god knows what. The management does not bother to spruce up this place. And in the 5 hours i was there chilling, i did not see once, the caretakers come and wash the shower, toilet and steam room. Which is understandable because they have hired mostly young guys, who wouldn't want to break their backs or lose their glamour to clean toilets.
Front desk staffs were mostly rude with their nonchalant attitude to customer request and questions.
Event days are actually nothing more than re-hashed theme nights. Its a gimmick to charge patrons more.
Really not worth paying for the membership or visiting this place. And if u do want to visit, go on non-event days. Event days are not eventful for the price.“

Good crowd on weekend but needs better facilities
“I’m a Asian avid traveler at my mid-30s, went there 2 times during my Christmas trip to Singapore.
The first night was disappointed as the crowd was boring probably because I arrived late at about 11pm, the second time I went on late Sunday evening and met some good ones.
The best timing to visit is during late evening to night time on public holiday or weekend where public transports are still accessible. There is not dry sauna, only steam room & the jacuzzi water is not hot enough. Overall pleasant experience if you are looking for hook up with strangers.“

Nice sauna experience
“Yes there is little bit of admin to get through if your a visitor and the prices are higher if your older and because you need to pay $10 to join was a member, but that is fair enough I think. I am 40 and paid $33 on a Wednesday night. This seemed reasonable as a one off for visitor. There is a discounted 3 day pass available too.
The facilities are fine but a little bit dated I guess. Went on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. Guys seemed friendly enough.“

Clean but lacking in facilities
“The dark maze has stairs, making it quite dangerous. I think it's better to have the dark maze in a flat-floor area, which would be more fun.
Facilities are lacking. There is a steam room which was as dark as the dark room, a small jacuzzi (for 5-6) which didn't seem to have a filtration system, a deserted movie room that show anything, a sad deserted bar with no staff. There should have been lounge chairs and corners where people can just relax or have private moments.
The floor of the shower was painful to stand on.“
Evil Monkey on 17-Nov-2017 | Problem with this review?
Lighting Needs To Be Consistent
“Cruise Club needs to find a consistent level of lighting in the maze on the second floor and stick with it. Some places have too much light and others have almost none. Having pitch black areas is dangerous and can cause injuries. The dotted disco light theme is also not good for such a space.
The lights in the second floor maze need to be soft and romantic. No bright white lights. There should be enough light to see faces but not so much that it ruins the mood. The distribution should be the same style everywhere except in the dark room. The light there should be floor based.
In addition, the air conditioner temperature is too cold, and the part of the second floor maze above the entrance is almost unbearable to stand at sometimes. People should not be sweating, except in the steam room, but they also shouldn't be put at risk of catching a cold due to the chilliness.“

Rude staff & ageist discrimination
“First time I visited this venue even though I live in Singapore. The steam room is fairly small, middle floor is the cruising area and rooms. You want it dark but you physically could not see a thing, people were bumping into people. then saying sorry... bit of a H&S issue going on here.
The top floor is outside under cover cafe area and lazy beds to chill out on. The ground floor contains the locker room where most of the boys hung out as well as the shower area and the jacuzzi which was stone cold and never seemed to warm up.
The layout generally is quite spacious. My biggest issue was that dependent on your age, determines how much have to pay to get in... Age 18-27 tend to be allowed in free...., 28 - 37 pay 1 fee and then 38+ pay a higher fee... Discrimination an another form.... The reception staff seemed to be quite rude and abrupt. Hardly service with a smile.“

Useless crowd of horny guys
“They definitely have a younger crowd but that comes with the extra part of them just standing there doing nothing. The biggest crowd shows up right after work hours but kept shrinking until a few remain after 9pm. The price is expensive and might be worth if it was a better group of guys. The layout of the space is pretty horrible with a dark room maze on the 2nd floor that you definitely cannot see it even to walk safely. That's where the old or out of shape guys try to ambush you. Lots of private rooms that remain untouched until last rounds when guys need to just pick one. “

If you don't care about the facilities and look only a place to hook up, you can have a good experience there. The prices are accessible specially to young people and they have a clever marketing that stimulates people back by fair prices.
The crew was polite and helpful. Cleanliness can be improved, specially on floor bathrooms.“

Nice, spacious and clean.
“My partner and I went there for an evening in early December and we thought it was just fine. Busy with wandering guys on the darkened 2nd floor, but we ended up hooking up with a really sweet athletic bi-guy at the bar on the quieter 3rd floor were you can chat and actually see faces. The place is well maintained, but they just need a greater supply of condoms in the rooms and probably more regular cleaning. At first I was nervous, but the reception guy was very nice and I ended up having HEAPS of fun. I was planning to only stay like 1 and a half hour but I ended up staying for 4 hours. The only down thing I don't like is that the guys there don't cut their nails. They need to cut their nails if they're gonna use their fingers seriously guys. Overall I give this place a 7/10. If you're lucky, you're lucky!
“I don't know about saunas overseas but having been to past saunas like Blue Heaven, Raw and One Seven, here's the lowdown about Singapore's sauna crow. They could be one or an the following
- reserved (shy)
- play hard to get
- conceited (either over-confident that they could get anyone even if they look like crap OR overly vain with their good looks)
- "hopeful" (such that they wish for people to make the first move, probably their low self-esteems refrain their moves)
- or they're just there to, well, cruise
In terms of crowd, like many other saunas I'd expect, it depends on the time and day. Some days (or time, for that matter) it could be packed while other times it could very well be deserted.
Personally, while I do get "lucky" at times, there were also times when I left disappointed or "unfulfilled" (if you know what I mean).
So the bottom line is there's no way of knowing when you get lucky. Some may reject you while some may not be of your preference.
The thing is going to sauna in Singapore is like a game for a regular bloke. Unless you're drop dead gorgeous hunk then you have the entire world at your disposal.“

Fit sticky rice city
“As a chunky 40 something foreigner I arrived on nude night. Staff were fine, but there were many questions and I had to become a member to enter. The fees weren't outrageous and if you return beneficial.
Inside the most action was on the second floor up a lot of steps and nude night so no towels. It was very busy but most seemed to be walking around and most were under 30. Nearly all were very fit. Very.
It was clean but I found it to be sticky rice city. I did meet some interesting and nice guys but there wasn't much diversity

Free entrance for guys below 25 and ended less action
“Because of free entrance for guys below the age of 25, they go there just to look and see whether any the most handsome sexy and fit guy there. They don't really want to socialize, so less action. The cold behavior of these age group eventually affected the whole environment. Even If they don't find the most handsome and sexy guy, they are ok as they visit there at NO COST. It was underwear night so, as I don't ever wear underwear, I was caught underwear less and had to go naked ... I'm OK with that. As a more mature Caucasian man who is not that attracted to Asian men I found myself naked and totally uninspired in the freezing aircon. first time at a gay sauna
“OK been looking and finally made my mind to go this sauna. First as you walk in the front desk ask some questions do I know what kind of club this is and how did I found out about it. Filled in some information paid the membership fee and the regular fee for the session. Walk in to the locker room to change and there were some uncles just sitting there looking.
Changed went to the steam room which was nice but way to dark couldn't see much and step on someone foot. Then made way to the 2nd floor where the maze and dark rooms were the floor was a Lil sticky and slimey in some spots. So I walk around and had someone from behind touch me which was OK but then their were two more guys told them no thank you. Walked a Lil more and again that happen so left the maze for a while and walk down the halls were the privite room were and was OK. Tried the maze again saw a cute cute walk in there but lost him. Cleanliness of the private rooms at the maze was never well maintained. NEVER. The bins were seldom cleared. Good crowd. Used to be way better. Per entry fee is a hefty $28/$23 after 5pm. Much higher than the other saunas. "Fun" is no gurantee“

Newbie review and questions
“First of all, I'd say I'm a newbie at the sauna cruising scene. I visited Cruise once to see what goes on. The jacuzzi was highly avoidable - cloudy water and who knows what mixed in it.
The sauna was excellent hot and steamy - and plenty of action. Quite dark and impossible to see. By the sounds of it, there was more going on..
The maze was heavily trafficked. Lots of standing around near the rooms and looking, but didn't get anyone interested to go in with me. Other area of maze were good. Upstairs lounge has sofa where I got my man.
How do the theme nights work - only one skin night. Seems silly to wear towel or speedo when all you want is to get them off
How to get people join you in room - just go in any lie down and wait?
I'll be visiting again in December. Any tips?“

“Visited Cruise Club for the first time on a Friday afternoon to evening.
1. Big area
Many rooms, large cruise area. Large area for lounging and rooftop cafe area. Might be better if these areas were better utilised on the other hand.
2. Nice mix of crowd
A nice spread with a fair number of hot guys. Many bodies in the evening.
3. Adequately equipped gym
4. Nice decor
1. Condoms are a significant distance away from where action happens.
It is located on a different floor from the maze / rooms. This is a major public health concern.
2. Showers, restrooms are are rather limited
I felt that the facilities are similar, if not lesser in quantity and quality than that of some smaller establishments. Push taps switch off way too fast. No urinals: guys queue up for cubicles like the ladies.... -_-' Soap dispenser on the second floor was not working.
3. The entrance curtain to the 2nd floor (rooms / maze area) smelt of unwashed linen
But otherwise the cleanliness and hygiene standards are good.
4. Pricey rates
But this needs to be evaluated against the younger crowd it manages to attract in with its free entrance for 18-25 year-olds.
In summary, it is a nice place with a good crowd. Accessibility of condoms, while it may seem just a slight inconvenience, is a major public health concern.
I declare no conflict of interests in writing this review.“

Not so special.
“First time in Singapore and first time at Cruise. I am not a gay sauna virgin, I have been to various saunas around the world. If you want to be anonymous I don't think this place is for you. Cruise is on the main strip near Chinatown so it is a very very busy road. The entrance is well lit and quite open. Once inside there is a onslaught of questions. How did you find out about this place? Have you been here before? Are you a member? Do you know what kind of place it? Membership is 10 Sing Dollar this lasts apparently 12 months but for visitors who might only go there once because they might only ever visit Singapore once it feels like a cheap way of making more money. Then add the 28 Sing dollar for entry it starts to feel expensive, not to mention the invasion of Privacy or theft of anonymity as you are required to fill out a form with your personal details, full name, date of birth, phone number for membership purposes . Once in, the locker area is spacious and modern with a few pieces of gym equipment. There is only a small unlit steam room. Unfortunately the walls and seating felt really slimy, lucky it was fairly hot inside, next to it is a jacuzzi, the temp was good, the back jets worked but there were cloudy fat bubbles forming on top of the water. Then the shower area, big enough but the water pressure is not strong enough to operate all showers at once. I understand that living in these climates there will be critters. I saw one cockroach sharing the shower with me and it was almost bigger than some of the young lads in there. In this area is also the smoking area as it is a internal courtyard of the building. As standard liquid soap is provided and even mouth wash (I have not seen that before anywhere). Going upstairs the cruise area is quite large and seems clean in the dim red and white lighting, with what looked like some big cabins. Further upstairs a video room with raised mattresses and what was called a cafe with internet, chairs tables and free syrup drinks in self serve dispensers and tea and coffee. Then further another out door balcony area. The whole place smelled of camphor (mothballs) it is even placed inside the lockers. Like any Sauna it depends on the time of day and which day to who and how many will be there. I was there around 21:00 on a Tuesday it was busy enough. Each night has a different theme so I guess different nights attract differing people. The people that work there need to remember that being friendly is also a service.“

Not bad, worth checking out
“I read up about this place beforehand. I have never been to one before and thought it would be interesting to check out. Nice place but located on a really busy street. So if you want to be incognito it would be a bit hard. Once in, there is a no nonsense attendant. Just pay the fee and get going. There is an open locker area. Just change and head through to the hot tub downstairs or go upstairs.
Second floor is the maze and the third is the bar. It was dark in the maze with some dim lights throughout. You are pretty much in 3 groups. The wanderers that roam the halls, the learners who pretty much stay in one spot, and the roomers who wait for someone to go in.
It was decently busy the night I was there. All decent bodies with a couple of muscle types. Also a few Caucasians which was cool.
After an hour of mindless wandering I decided to just take the initiative and what a great idea that was. Needless to say we all left happy.
Since this is the first time I have been to a "sauna" I can't compare the facilities but it was a lot of fun and I am looking to try it out again.“

The below is an official reply from Cruise Club regarding this incident.
A. WHAT HAPPENED
1. At around 11.30pm on 7 Mar (Sat), several officers approached Cruise Club in what we believe to be part of their routine checks for general compliance (of licenses, fire safety, overcrowding etc) around the area.
2. As standard Cruise Club protocol to protect the interests of our members, our staff switched on the overhead white lights and also turned off the club's piped in music. We were not instructed at any point by the officer to have our lights on.
3. The officers (including those from NEA - National Environment Agency) requested to enter the club so they could inspect the premises. Our Club Manager on duty spoke to the officers and they left after inspecting the premises in about 30 minutes.
4. We were also recommended by the officer from NEA to limit our smoking point to only level 1 as the additional smoking point in level 3 is near to our cafe.
5. No other action was taken, and no members were affected in this routine check.
6. The Club resumed normal operations thereafter shortly, as we checked in more members and processed re-entries to Cruise for Skin Saturday.
B. CRUISE'S ASSURANCES
1. Cruise values the privacy and safety of all our members.
2. While such checks rarely happen, Cruise has standard policies in place (as per all other saunas) to ensure that any inconvenience to our customers are reduced to its lowest level.
3. That is also the reason why the Club's lights were on and the music turned off as part of our standard procedure. The procedures will be similar also in emergency situations like a fire hazard.
4. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our members and will issue all members affected by this incident a complimentary all-day 1 Day Pass for the short disruption in their enjoyment of the Club. All members affected today will be notified via e-mail/SMS on the redemption of the free pass.
We thank all our members for their continued support and would like to assure all that we will do our best to ensure that all our members feel at home in a safe, clean and secure environment.

“Not really sure what happened but the club should be open until 8am Saturday but around 11.30pm, lights were turned on and everybody started leaving. There are guys with ID on them entering and checking the club out.
One patron said that it has never happened before and maybe they're checking for drugs.
Anyway, the place seems ok. Free juice at the top most floor.“

Young, fit, some eye candies, typical XYZ Generation
“I have managed a bath house in the Philippines (epitome malate 2007-2012) and I am a frequent bath house goer since college days, from Club Bath Philippines, Fahrenheit, We’reHaus (formerly Mansion), so I know what customers felt, and management can do.
Cruise is just right. Clean, youthful, fit and some eye candies. But the present XYZ generation are typical choosy, picky and snobbish if only if you are as hunk as Hugh Jackman or as gorgeous as Brandon Routh, then you will surely go wild. I wish they just ignore the self-inhibition, and explore the wild side of cruising in the maze, rooms, and have a great bonding among half naked men. My suggestion, let management place some kinky men who can play and have fun, a little show perhaps, it will excite everybody more. But then again, it all depends on the crowd, management and the community as the establishment speaks itself "Cruise"....Mama Sam“

it's the people that make a home
“Agree with Joe. I went here on 2/2/15 830- 11pm. It got progressively quieter from 10 pm onwards (30 down to 4). Guys are indeed hot, but like most Asian guys in Asian countries I found there was a lot of standing around and shy glances ( personal opinion) but not much action. More diligent cleaning of private rooms needed and steam room does really smell.“

Favourite in Singapore
“Singapore is a regular stop over place for me, and Cruise Club is my favorite spot to hang out for a few hours. Its definitely the biggest and most popular sauna and usually there are plenty of Asian guys to have fun with. Cleanliness can occasionally be an issue, but usually this has been caused by patrons not bothering to clean up after themselves. But still THE place in Singapore for fun.“

Pay attention to rates
“Staff on entrance were rude and impolite. First what they say was “It is your first time in such place?" like in previous review.
Pay attention to rates on their website and on counter. Its totally different. There is NO free entrance after 10pm for second guest on Sunday. Plus you should pay membership $10 for each.“

“I had a great time at cruise during my visit there.
Lots of hunky local boys and very near to the clubs and bars.

Dirty place. Users should be more responsible.
“The facilities are ok but the dark rooms are smelly and dirty. Its quite disgusting that I had to leave level 2 and went outside at the balcony to take fresh air. The mattresses are quite dirty too. The steam room was also smelly.
Back to the dark rooms, hopefully users can be more responsible. Clean and disinfect after using it! Please wipe and clean it thoroughly. Thank you.“

“Mostly Sticky Rice, guys running around like they will find something better in another corner! Private rooms are very dirty. I miss Babylon in Bangkok. Even the Singapore guys there are nicer. Unfortunately Club Seven is closed for renovation. Much better costumers, no sticky rice. Will not go back. Overall I give it a 2+“

Only sauna in singapore worth visiting
“Been to other saunas in Singapore, but I must say Cruise Club is by far the best with the hottest Asian guys. The other saunas that I went to had many older gentlemen - not my kind of scene. I visited Cruise Club on Saturday and it was packed with gorgeous locals. I met a cute guy who also took me to Tantric, a gay bar which was just a short walk away from Cruise. How convenient! Will be back on my next visit to Singapore!“
