“The reason is: They do age-DISCRIMINATION (higher entrance-fee the older you are). Discrimination is NEVER NICE. And how can we gays ask others not to discriminate us, if we start to discriminate among ourselves?

  4. Age Discrimination!! Avoid!!

“If you are over 35 or even 30, no matter how attractive you are, don't bother to go there as you have to a HUGE fee to enter. They only want young ones there, assuming all young ones are sexy, you think that's good management? or make sense?“

  6. Good crowd on weekend but needs better facilities

“I’m a Asian avid traveler at my mid-30s, went there 2 times during my Christmas trip to Singapore.

The first night was disappointed as the crowd was boring probably because I arrived late at about 11pm, the second time I went on late Sunday evening and met some good ones.

The best timing to visit is during late evening to night time on public holiday or weekend where public transports are still accessible. There is not dry sauna, only steam room & the jacuzzi water is not hot enough. Overall pleasant experience if you are looking for hook up with strangers.“

  7. Nice sauna experience

“Yes there is little bit of admin to get through if your a visitor and the prices are higher if your older and because you need to pay $10 to join was a member, but that is fair enough I think. I am 40 and paid $33 on a Wednesday night. This seemed reasonable as a one off for visitor. There is a discounted 3 day pass available too.

The facilities are fine but a little bit dated I guess. Went on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. Guys seemed friendly enough.“

  8. Ageism

“Visited 3 saunas in Singapore, this one is on the bottom. Not worth the high entry fee plus annual membership. Management assume young ones are all attractive so gave them free or cheap entry and higher rate for 28+. Unlike Hutong of HK, they judge but the looks not age, which one make more sense? “

  9. Over rated, quiet most days, not tourist friendly

“Went there twice, weekday was quiet so was thinking try again on Saturday, more people but boring crowed, plus unable to find one I am attracted to. Expensive, poor service, never again!“

  10. Visitors beware

“As others mentioned, you start with the questioning routine to make sure you know why you are there! Then was told the cost would cost $10 membership fee plus $28 entry (website said $23) - $38 and this was one hour before close. This venue does not want or welcome tourists. Customer service is not their forte.“

  11. Needs an upgrade

“It was good few years back not anymore. They charge high rate for age 30+ and almost free for 23-, so ended all good looking olders go elsewhere. Facilities aged, doubt this sauna could survive if new one opening.“

  12. Clean but lacking in facilities

“The dark maze has stairs, making it quite dangerous. I think it's better to have the dark maze in a flat-floor area, which would be more fun.

Facilities are lacking. There is a steam room which was as dark as the dark room, a small jacuzzi (for 5-6) which didn't seem to have a filtration system, a deserted movie room that show anything, a sad deserted bar with no staff. There should have been lounge chairs and corners where people can just relax or have private moments.

The floor of the shower was painful to stand on.“

  13. Lighting Needs To Be Consistent

“Cruise Club needs to find a consistent level of lighting in the maze on the second floor and stick with it. Some places have too much light and others have almost none. Having pitch black areas is dangerous and can cause injuries. The dotted disco light theme is also not good for such a space.

The lights in the second floor maze need to be soft and romantic. No bright white lights. There should be enough light to see faces but not so much that it ruins the mood. The distribution should be the same style everywhere except in the dark room. The light there should be floor based.

In addition, the air conditioner temperature is too cold, and the part of the second floor maze above the entrance is almost unbearable to stand at sometimes. People should not be sweating, except in the steam room, but they also shouldn't be put at risk of catching a cold due to the chilliness.“

  14. Rude staff & ageist discrimination

“First time I visited this venue even though I live in Singapore. The steam room is fairly small, middle floor is the cruising area and rooms. You want it dark but you physically could not see a thing, people were bumping into people. then saying sorry... bit of a H&S issue going on here.

The top floor is outside under cover cafe area and lazy beds to chill out on. The ground floor contains the locker room where most of the boys hung out as well as the shower area and the jacuzzi which was stone cold and never seemed to warm up.

The layout generally is quite spacious. My biggest issue was that dependent on your age, determines how much have to pay to get in... Age 18-27 tend to be allowed in free...., 28 - 37 pay 1 fee and then 38+ pay a higher fee... Discrimination an another form.... The reception staff seemed to be quite rude and abrupt. Hardly service with a smile.“
