Not gay anymore

I also reviewed on Tripadvisor and was rebuffed for saying that it was a gay bar. I alerted ths site about their reply . Obviously money talks more than gay opinon. Avoid

Good venue, but not gay

I reviewed on Tripadvisor that the venue was disappointingly lacking gay customers compared to previous visits. It replied that it was not advertising gay venue so really it should not feature on here. It is a good location though.

Great place

Had dinner. We ordered the tapas which tasted really good. The staff are kind and serviceminded. Cosy place right next to the beach.

Good food, good drinks & friendly staff

We ate a late lunch there and went back for drinks the next day. Most of the food served on that street is not great. It's tourist food. But El Gato is different. It's very good!

Great for lunch

A cheery café where diners will struggle to choose just one of the enticing cooked lunches on offer – there’s brioche French toast, crispy confit duck hash and even bubble and squeak. High-quality, fresh ingredients and ample portions justify its pricing, and attention to detail is a strong point – look out for cucumber-infused tap water. A selection of arty magazines and a super-soulful soundtrack make it far too easy to spend all day here.

Wonderful location, but aloof staff

This is an amazing place, really beautiful. However the staff are very offputting. They are snobbish and borderline rude ..... they certainly dont pay attention to the customers....

Friendly service, great food

One of my Favourite place to go in Torremolinos! The location is great and decoration is amazing! Very fun vibes! Good tapas & wine for correct prices! good selection of classic and not so classic tapas - orders the bread with tomatoes and bread with real iberico ham and cheese ( both good ) nice crusty bread and I had the meatballs ( very good ) and spicy sausages ( chorizo - not spicy but yummy ) anchovies in vinegar (boquerones ) which were very delicate , Spanish tortilla ( ok ) squid ( really good but ask for aioli on the side ) - total bill was 48 euros - a bargain by Torremolinos standards and we enjoyed so much have booked to return Friday ( going to try the octopus ) . Overall a really good meal great service and great setting .

Fantastic place

One of the best restaurants in Torremolinos, good food and friendly waiters. Best hamburger I have tried in years, powerful and clean Margarita cocktail.
