B1F Shinjuku Plaza Bldg, 2-12-3 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, 160-0022

Foreigner-friendly gay bar in Shinjuku. This large video bar attracts professionals, guys in their mid 20's-40's, artists, expats and 'gaisen' (Japanese men who like Westerners).

Great for pre-clubbing. Cruisy and extra crowded on weekends.

Relaxing and welcoming venue, with very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again on my next trip.

I first went to GB in 1991 at the tender young age of 30 when it was THE ONLY bar in Ni-Chôme that 'allowed' gaijin (foreigners). For most of the 1990s my social life on weekends revolved around 2-Chôme and usually that meant Keiji's GB. It was usually packed, smokey, loud, very, very cruises and a lot of fun. I haven't been there since 1997 but hope Keiji is still thriving or happily retired.

Fun but older crowd than in description

Great little place -- but I should point out that the age ranges from 35-65, not 20s-40s.

Haven't been to Tokyo in quite a few years but last time I was there GB was not very old but well established. It was the kind of bar I really liked. As an added plus I knew the owner Kenji very well when he lived in San Diego for a while. I'd really like to know if he still owns the bar.

Hi, I'm wondering if the owner you say 'kenji' is Keiji. I knew the owner, Keiji well, but it was 18 years ago and I am re-visiting in a week and hoping he is still there? Can't wait to see Tokyo again after so long
