Wondering

Just checking to see if Jinya has survived the pandemic. Love this place and had many visits in the 2000s. Sure, it’s no 24 Kaikan, but I found the guys here friendlier and more upfront with no attitude. I was usually the only foreigner here most visits and had some mild and wild times here including a fundoshi party on the roof on a hot summer night. It is a little difficult t find but worth the search.

Worst bathhouse ever

I visited Jin-ya this past week and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. It is hard to put in words how bad this location is. It looks like this place has not had a renovation since this 60's - I felt like I was in the living room of an elderly grandparent with tacky decorations like porcelain dog statues in the hallways. The bathhouse section is tiny with a spa that probably holds at best 8 people, with cheap plastic shower curtains covering the showers, and a sauna which probably only seats 4 people. The video room was showing videos that has been "edited" for PG viewing - meaning any images have been pixelated. The upper floors have some communal rooms that just contain mattresses on the floor with guys sleeping in them. Maybe this is typical of a Japanese bathhouse, but if you are expecting a modern facility DO NOT go here - biggest waste of money!

Good times in Tokyo

This small sauna has quite a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff that speaks a little english, you are welcomed and they do explain the rules (for example that you must immediately take off your shoes and put these in a small locker, give the number of that locker at reception and they'll give you other key for the rest of your clothes). No private cabins, instead several large rooms whith matrasses on the ground where you can play and be watched. Most Japanese here (unlike other places) do expect a few foreign visitors and thus like to play with these as well. Had a great time here while heavy raining outside. Just want to mention that in order to find this place you need to take exit C1 from the metro station (thus not the JR Yamanote line!).

Not worth going

For Tokyo I was very disappointed with this place. It felt dirty and very amateur. Only six people there on a supposedly busy night. Left after 30min as it was so bad and nasty. Recommend you go to the other bigger ones in Tokyo where they have multiple floors and facilities. Won’t go back here. They don’t even greet you at this place

First experience

It was my first experience in a gay sauna and gay in all sense. Went there on a Saturday night, 2400yen entrance fee. It wasn't crowded, for most over 40's. Many people sleeping on 2nd floor. At first a little embarrassed but after really comfortable. Had a lot fun with some Japanese. Really great first experience.

Nice Sauna

I went to this place on a Sunday night and although there were not a lot of people I had lots of fun! Most of the Guys were willing to play and not as much attitude as some other saunas. Recommended !

Good value and location

Small rooms but good value and location. Clean room, firm bed with safe and WiFi. Walking distance to the monorail and the bar strip. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Sensible choice if you're going to be spending most of your time exploring Kuala Lumpur.

Nice experience

I had fun. You will like this place if you don't like big places. I also love BODYBREATH in Shinjuku.

Quiet, but cosy

I've been here in march 2015 on a weekday afternoon and had a real good time. The facilities aren't great and there weren't many visitors so I took my time sunbathing on the roof terrace. After that I was approached by a slim guy in his thirties. A great experience! I can recommend this place to anyone who can take the time to spend at least three hours.
