3-13-3 Takadanobaba #202, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
CLOSED – pending relocation
You can probably guess that Masquerade is not a sauna, but a gay cruise club. The place attracts a mostly Japanese customer base but welcomes men all nationalities and hosts weekly themed events.
Entrance fee ¥1500, but discounts are available if you hold a gym membership card or are even just well-hung. No showers, but wet towels available to clean up with.
From Shinjuku Station: Take JR Yamanote line or Seibu Shinjuku line then get off at Takadanobaba Station (about 5 minutes).
From Tokyo area: Take the metro (Tozai Line) from Otemachi to Takadanobaba Station. Walk for 5 minutes, take the Waseda exit, cross the road and turn left. Continue, past the 4th traffic light and you’ll see a Chinese restaurant. Masquerade is on the 2nd floor above the restaurant.

“Still no sign of reopening as of June 2019. A shame as it was a decent place for fun.“
