Dirty Sauna

I have been to many saunas in many countries and have seen several dirty saunas but Rainbow definitely takes the cake when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene. The standard of cleanliness is appalling. Very dirty and filthy. After I left the place my body started to itch. The crowd are also not good looking and there were not many people even on a Saturday. The people there were mostly either old, fat or both. Lube and condoms are not available in the rooms. I understand that they will only provide each customer with only 1 condom. Avoid at all cost.

Nightmare

Totally disgusting. I actually was there for 5 minutes then left. It was old, dirty and gross. Pity that owners like this in Asia only want to collect money but don't careless about their facilities. The place is in good location, with some upgrade, it would have been a hit. Save your money, don't come here until they renovate the facility

Why this place charges people differently base on their nationality?

That is terrible to charge differently base on your nationality, especially this is in Taiwan. How backward this is. I am not sure if I want to support place that practices this type of rules.

Cannot say it is nice

Little bit dirty and cold inside. Some rooms are locked. But there were no one inside. It is not easy to have something in this sauna. Bad smell in Dark rooms and ppl just walk around over and over again. It needs more resting places for guest to scanning each other. I think this sauna needs remodeling for letting ppl have more chance to have something...and entrance fee were different from the sign on the front. Still I don't know why.

Was great, no just. HoHum

I have been going here since 2009 as well. It's a little rundown but terrible. The need lube dispensers through. They also need to Turn the AC back on the second floor. It is too hot. They need but more cleaning toilets on all the floors. Last I see there were two u could us to douch right next to shower, we'll there is no reason. That At least 2 other upstairs can be ready. The tub room needs that cleaned and get people more into the happily of the little. Shower curtained areas (prime are area for nookie, same with the dark steam room and dry sauna)! So u finish showering and head in.

No Longer Attracts Good Looking Men

I guess most reviewers here are Caucasians but anyways coming from an ASIAN man point of view, i really have to say that Rainbow does not attract good~looking patrons any longer. This is based on my 4 days of observation being there, most guys are averaging or below average (don't mean to judge anyone though). Anyways, this place is still a nice and pleasant place to hang out with since the owners are friendly. Those hot Taiwanese guys everyone loves to see aren't to be seen here anymore and i am quite sure most of them have gone to Huang Ding hotspring (yes i wrote a review there too). Rainbow will always have its loyal supporters and i hope they grow from strength to strength in the course of time.

Not so good experience

It is a bit expensive for 450. Should have gone to Hans or Aniki. Bears are not welcome with the crowd. So hope for bear aficionados when you visit.

Taiwan - poor English speaking country

What should have been said is "$150 for local Taiwanese or those who have Taiwan's ID card" as shown on the entrance sliding door. It is sad to say most local businesses run by gay people are not too bothered about hiring staff who can speak basic English. If mainland Chinese go to Rainbow during the $150 time slots they are still going to be charged at $450 as they are not local Taiwanese nor they have Taiwan's national ID card.

Entry fee

The staff charged 450dollar to me. I am a Japanese but he understands I am not a Chinese. The website says 150 dollar then I go there but. I should have not been there. I will never go again.

so far so good

Place cleanliness was just same as above describe. But so far the masseur that I choose was good looking and friendly with me. Massage skill was just okay. Pay how much you get. Extra service can be negotiated with the masseur if you really want it.
