"Gay café" for "not too gay" people
“Stay away! There are repeated incidents of people being mocked and denied service because they were "too flamboyant" or "eccentric". Also, femme-phobic and ignorant comments from staff. I guess if you are a white, able-bodied, masculine, straight-acting cis male gym gay you can get in and pay 4 euros for a cup of coffee.“

“Found this little gem of a cafe on gay athens site. Went there one day and enjoyed it so much went back the next 2 days and will certainly go back next time we are in Athens. Fabulous food, friendly staff, lovely location. Highly recommended.“

Good night and day
“Went for a drink in the evening with people I'd met. Nice venue with lots of outdoor seating. Went back for lunch another day and it was so good I had lunch there again before I left Athens. Most of the scene is very late in this city, but Rooster's patio was full in the afternoon.“
