Huge but empty

Admittedly I came here on a weekday afternoon so it was probably the least busy time I could have picked, but that's when I was in Brussels. This place is enormous, one of the biggest saunas I've ever been in. The clientele was mostly middle aged (60s) business men types - slim builds. I'm always looking for burly guys and bears, so there was nothing for me here. The place smelled kind of weird throughout. The music was good, though. Could be a fun place if there were more men to choose from.

15 years residence in Brussels - It is getting worse and worse

When I came to Brussels in 2004 the place was so much better. I cannot judge on the age or type of clients, as this is not relevant. I will stick to some basic facts which reflect the very bad service provided by the owner of the place. 1. They have cut the flow of cold water in the toilets, so that you will be forced to buy at the bar bottled water which costs 2,5 euros 0,25 lt. This is disgraceful and clearly highlights the mentality of the owner that 20 euros entrance fees is not enough. We still want more. But water is a basic good and somebody may feel bad and not have the time to go to the bar. Plus, it is BASIC GOOD. 2. There is a door with a little terrace. During the winter with -10 degrees, management wanted to leave the door open. When we explained that this is dangerous as we might got sick being naked, they just yelled at us saying that no matter what we said the door would remain closed. Aggressive, rude and nasty. 3. Once I came in with my bag and I had a bottle of vodka. They asked to check my bag. They took it and they put it next to main entrance which was visible by everybody. Despite the fact that I explained to them that I was not planning to open it they took it. They reassured me that it would not get lost. Ten minutes afterwards the bottle had disappeared. Surprise??? Nobody knew anything about it. Stolen? Perhaps. Put in the bar and used to to overcharge the drinks they sold? Perhaps. In any case, they simply ignored me. I may have lost 20 euros, I hope they will lose much more and many more clients. 4. When I told them that the toilets were dirty, they didn't show a single professionalism and kindness to send someone to clean them. The answer is that if you want to walk freely, you can rent sleepers. I will be very happy if I hear that they run out of customers.

I agree

What you wrote is not an exaggeration!! how can you have polite services, when the owners are rude and arrogant?

I agree

I absolutely agree. This was just a disgrace. I went to the bathroom to drink some tap water. What's wrong with that? The translate everything into profit. I live in Brussels since 2010. Everytime I want to go to a sauna I go either to Gent or Cologne.

Huge Facilities and busy.

We went on a Monday evening, it was busy however not a lot of action. Lots of hot men circling but not into it. Steam room was busy. Huge facilities. No free water to drink or to be brought into venue. A glass of water was €2.50, a rip off.

Excellent Venue

This is a very clean and relaxing venue. Staff are very nice and friendly. It has got everything one can expect, I must say the zacuzzi and steam room are bit small, the cabins are clean and good size, it has got range of cabins you can choose depends on your style. Its definitely worth visiting, I will go again :))

In Bruxelles, there's nothing else

Location: In the center. We have arrived on foot, but you can also take a public transport and get off the Manneken Pis. Type of customer: From 25 to 55 years, for the most part fit and pleasing in appearance. Someone really very nice, a few ugly, almost no old people. A good average, in short, with men who are not shaved and not muscular, but sporty. Structure: The action is concentrated in the Turkish bath and in the dark room on the second floor. Cleaning: The dressing rooms are cleaned after each use and the other rooms are also kept well. Prices: Quite high. The entrance entitles you to the key of a mini locker in which to ball up your clothes and 2 towels. A ticket can be issued to exit and return within 4 hours. Those who wish can buy disposable slippers. Advice for customers: Go there preferably on the weekend or on the day when young people have reduced entry. On Sundays the sauna is full already in the morning (it doesn't close on Saturday evening). If, like us, you are looking for group games, then you might be disappointed; here people prefer soft sex and, the few who are interested in continuing, close in a cabin in two or, at most, in three (rare). It's the only place we had fun in Brussels, not exactly how we like it, but we can't say we wasted our money. Tips for the managers: The lockers should be much larger.

Very bad

Very bad sauna. It is not relaxing at all. It is cold and dirty. Mostly money guys inside. Lots of guys who have been parrying for days. No action, just wondering round and round. Very rude staff at the entrance. Horrible.

Very nice; recommended for couples or solo travelers as the room is small, but cozy.

I was there on Thursday 18th of April and I don't know why people say staff is rude or dirty sauna. It was really cool, staff helpful, and helped me get around, although his English was funny, he tried hard. I had lots of fun in steam sauna and cabins too. Interesting place, the ones who put bad comments are over 60, but the majority of customers there were from 18 to 40. Price on Thursday was 15 euro, other days 20. I'll go again today since it's my last day here.

Centrale e ben frequentata

'- Position: In the center. - Type of clientele: From 25 to 55 years, for the most part in shape and pleasing in appearance. Someone really very cute and very few ugly, no old man. A good average, in short, with mostly non-depilated and not muscular (but sporty). - Structure: Multiple floors. In the basement changing rooms; on the ground floor sauna (almost always empty), Turkish bath (always full and where there is soft action), whirlpool, slightly heated pool and bar; On the first floor rooms for those who want privacy, video room hard (empty) and small dark (almost never stops anyone); on the second floor a very large dark room where people gather, it becomes very soft (rarely hard) and other rooms for those who want to isolate themselves from the crowd; on the top floor a small gym (no one uses it) and a terrace (maybe in summer someone sunbathes). -Cleaning: The rooms are cleaned after each use and also the other rooms are kept well. -Price: Pretty high. It gives you the key to a mini-locker where you can wrap your clothes and 2 towels. There is the possibility of being issued a ticket to go out and return within 4 hours, paying half the amount; over 4 hours, the amount will be paid again in full. Those who wish can buy disposable slippers. - Advice for customers: Although the sauna is very clean, we still recommend the use of slippers (bring them, or you can buy them at the entrance). It is not anymore crowed with good guys. Usually around 10-20 people mostly aged 50+. No young guys and no hot guys or if any they are money guys. Do not visit it.

Vitalii

It's a very friendly and comfortable sauna. Anybody can find what he want. I go to sauna as sauna not for action. And for all it was ok. There are 4 floors with terrace and gym. But in gym was nobody. All actions were at the hamam. There was very good longe and club zone. Recommended.

HOT AND NOT JUST THE SAUNA STEAM

Lovely time just across the border from Luxembourg. A real feast for male excitement and variety to tempt every juicy taste. Steisel has nothing like Brugge fun. Start 2018 in the best possible way.

My best gay experience ever

I attended this sauna on Sunday 29.10 at La Demence, which is also day with most expensive entrance cost - 25EU. We arrived about 10AM after the main party and the line at the entrance was about 50 meters long, which meant waiting for about 3 hours. We joined my friends who were standing about 10 meters from the entrance, but even then, we waited for about 1 hour to enter because sauna was full and people were allowed to enter only when somebody was leaving. Moreover, guys who came in pairs or triples were allocated single locker, again, because of lack of the space in the sauna. After we entered I was shocked by the atmosphere. You enter dancing floor which is crowded by tens of hot guys smiling and dancing to Circuit-style music with the most popular mixes of Sagi Kariv, Offer Nissim and other gay hits - music which takes you very high and you don't want to stop. There is a small pool near the dancefloor which also was full of people. Moving forward you reach showers and dry / wet saunas and then five floors of play area with rooms of different kinds. There is even gym and open gallery at the last floor. I didn't want to leave. I preferred this sauna over any other party of La Demence - both because of music, crowd and atmosphere. I surely will go back next year. The only drawback is very unpleasant crew, especially the guard at the entrance. I don't want to go into details of the experience we had with him but my advice - try to avoid contact with him.

Five star facilities

Modern clean comfortable sauna with great facilities. I've been to many around the world and can't find anything to complain about here. Visited mid week when it was quiet but still enough people around to have fun. Something for every taste from Asian to black to local bears - and not a mobile phone in sight.

Mobile phones everywhere

The sauna as such is ok albeit cold on the upper floors. However, mobile phones are allowed everywhere on the premises both in lounge area and on the upper floors and yes they are being used for taking pictures. Rather uncomfortable.

I was there last Sunday, 14 Feb, 2016. Apparently it was the afterparty of some other event, full of hot people all around. Great hunting cabin experience. Spent a couple hours and left satisfied.

Vergane glorie in Brussel

Poor Brussels

Guys, I'm upset about this sauna if it's one of the best - then what is the worst? Let see - the location is good, close to downtown, but the furniture is inside should have been changed or renovated few years ago. There is a lot of lockers, but there is not a lot of people. In November, even in a busy time, the age of attenders mostly 35-40+ and not very keen with sport guys. There are three floors with different dark rooms occupied by grannies or empty. The gym on the roof very old and poor, the sun terrace small but good :) the steam and sauna are OK but can be a little bit renovated, good swiming pool and dirty Jacuzzi.

Lots of action after La Demance party last Sunday night (8th June). If you don't pick up at the party you will here.
