Amazing Wee Gem

Ted's Place in London is more than just a bar; it's a haven of warmth and acceptance. Tucked away in the heart of the city, this hidden gem radiates with a welcoming atmosphere that embraces everyone who walks through its doors. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Their genuine smiles and warm demeanor set the tone for an unforgettable experience. It's evident that the team at Ted's Place takes pride in creating a safe and inclusive space for all patrons. The ambiance of Ted's Place is inviting and cozy, with dim lighting and comfortable seating that encourages conversation and connection. Whether you're looking to unwind after a long day or meet new friends, this is the perfect spot to do so. But what truly sets Ted's Place apart is the people who run it. Their dedication to fostering a sense of community is palpable, and it's clear that they genuinely care about each and every person who walks through their doors. Their commitment to creating a welcoming environment is commendable and deserves recognition. Overall, my experience at Ted's Place was nothing short of exceptional. It's rare to find a place that not only offers great drinks and atmosphere but also leaves a lasting impression with its genuine hospitality. If you're looking for a hidden gem in London where you can be yourself and feel welcomed with open arms, look no further than Ted's Place. Just be sure to take cash as no cards accepted !!

Safe nice place to relax and enjoy

I looked at several places to go to in London whilst I was nearby and this place ticked all the boxes :) Ted has run this place for 30 years (the same amount of time I've run my own) It's not a massive place, however its a bar where you feel safe, relaxed and staff are A1 .. It's not easy to find, but maybe that's what is quite exclusive about it in its own way ......Highly recommended...

Horny & can be fun

If you're looking for a prissy gay nightclub, then this isn't for you. If you want to walk around in your pants & boots, feeling horny & hopefully get a bit of fun, then maybe give it a try. I just wish more men went along. Maybe you?

rubbish

Rubbish. If you want to look at other people all night long this is the place. Borring, dirty, unfriendly, customer so no many people talk to you. You will feel alone all night. Better to go some where else.

better off somewhere

Rubbish arrogant place from staff and customers. If you like to look at people this is the place to go. The customer who comes there are unfriendly so you probably sit on a sofa talking to no one. Boring place in every single way.

Avoid

The place is an absolute hovel. A real throwback to days when this part of London was raging. Sadly, the Colherne and Harpo's (feeder pubs for this bar) have long gone. There are plenty of far more sanitary choices for you in London.

london guy

Grim basement club, hang over from the days of discrimination. the only person who gets action is the coat check guy who grabs those he wants before they get in the door. I went twice, and would never go again. The toilets are Victorian.
