Well this place certainly won't be making any more comebacks now. It was raised to the ground a few weeks ago! Not a problem though, 'The Cave' on Cumberland St more than replaces it as a club for older guys. And in cleaner, nicer and more lively surroundings too.

Had its hick ups when reopened but now getting back to its old ways, good staff, lot cleaner. Was never closed down by the police. And is now open to all - gay - lesbian - swingers - drag queens - cross dressers dress as you wish

The Curzon reopened in march 2017 as the previous proposals for apartments fell through. It's Liverpool's oldest gay club with the same old sleazy feel it always had.

So it shut now then? are well good whilst it lasted..

Drag act what drag act? They have nothing going on there anymore used to be a great place over 10 years ago, now gone to the dogs, down toilets are very smelly. Bar staff under paid shouldn't have to pay on door and as for the dark room it was closed down by the police as they didn't have a license, the music is out dated but if your looking for a shag its the place to be just go down to the toilets and see how many follow. But apart from all that the staff are great bar staff that is.

Went there, didn't like the drink, couldn't find this alleged dark room. Would've had more look just getting my d*** out at the actual bar. But apart from that I met some nice people, would maybe go again.
