Great day

We visited the central markethall , then we walkad around Danube, and we find this little cafe. The hot chocolate was amazing, my boyfriend drunk a mulled wine on terracce - yes, it was wonderful weather! :) We come back in the evening, it will be karaoke night! We recommend this place, the barkeeper was very kind too!

Best in Budapest

We visited this bar on Wednesday, there was Bingo night, was very funny with the drag :) Prices are ok, cheaper than in Germany. Cocktails was delicios! We wait 10 minutes for our drinks, but the place was full-full....

I found this place with an internet search and visited in the afternoon. My experience was great- i am not gay and visited with my husband. The bar tender made contact immediately and made us very welcome.we saw nothing of the negative reviews and the drinks were great.... so give it a go!

Nice staff

We visited this gay friendly bar, with our Australian friends. The atmosphere was familiar, the baarkeepers smile all night long. We drunk together hungarian palinka :) The prices are reasonable, with the service charge too - pint of beer 2,3 euro

Incompetent, slow, rude staff

The venue location is great, view onto the Danube is great, the venue has outdoor seating which is a plus. This venue is only let down by its staff, who at best are incompent, rude, pretentious, there is clearly a 'locals prefered' mentality, wait times for drinks are stupid and unnecessary. So, visit for the view, just don't expect great service.

close this place down

The reviews above are all true, it's unbelievable, the rudeness is staggering. You are treated with resentment and contempt - shocking atmosphere. Either get rid of the staff or close it down it's an insult to gay people who just want basic service without attitude and clean facilities. Do not go there, seriously.

why not ? ill tell you why not

the barstaff are the rudest people Ive ever come across. Its like youre in a police station about to be accused of something. They look at you, eventually, after you've asked for a drink, with undisguised contempt .take as long as they can possibly get away with to actually serve you and seem to revel in the awkwardness in you that they've created. Youre left puzzled as to why you've been so badly treated .I sat down and other customers were all talking about the bad atmosphere and service..I was assured that this was standard practice for this place by others in different bars whod been there....Why not? Cos its vile

the worst gay bar in the world

Unbelievably rude, confrontational and dismissive bar staff. I waited 15 mins for a drink after ordering from the barman who didn't even look up from texting. They stare at you as if to say what are you doing here when you ask for a drink and reluctantly get you one after keeping you waiting while they stand around not doing anything. Queens with an attitude problem.A very uncomfortable atmosphere of resentment and loathing for customers. Avoid this place if you don't want to spoile your holiday. I went in twice, the first time was looked at dismissively when I dared to ask for a drink and was reluctantly served after an embarrassingly long pause before being told "sit" I only returned tree days later because I saw there was different staff but this time was even worse as I waited 15 mins for a drink while staff idely chatted and texted then drink was slammed on table by a guy with terrible confrontational and resentful attitude..i left. Seriously it's not even funny but like they actually hated you for being there. Awful. Blocked toilets and filthy sink

U are right

I would not recommend this venue. When I visited, I found the staff unwelcoming. I believe that this venue also overcharges its patrons.
