    Baltic Pride

Baltic Pride stands as a unique LGBTQ+ celebration in Europe, rotating annually between the three Baltic capitals of Vilnius (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), and Tallinn (Estonia). For 2025, the festival returns to Vilnius, Lithuania, from June 2–8, with the main march on Saturday, June 7. Events include a Pride Art Exhibition, film screenings, parties, and a Human Rights Conference. The 2025 theme is "Free to Be (Yourself).

    Baltic Pride March

The March for Equality is expected to start on Gediminas Avenue in Old Town Vilnius, likely ending in Lukiškių Square with a Pride Park concert and speeches.

The event has shown remarkable growth over the years—from just 400 participants at Vilnius's first Baltic Pride in 2010 to approximately 10,000 marchers during the 2019 edition, demonstrating increasing acceptance despite the region's traditionally conservative social climate.

On June 6–7, the Pride for Progress conference will bring together global business leaders and activists to explore workplace inclusivity.

The celebration peaks on June 7 with the Pride March for Equality, drawing thousands to Gediminas Avenue, followed by the Baltic Pride Main Concert at Baltasis Bridge.

    Baltic Pride History

This rotating pride festival represents a powerful collaboration between three national LGBTQ+ organizations: the Lithuanian Gay League (LGL), Latvia's organization Mozaīka, and the Estonian LGBT Association. What began in 2009 as a modest gathering has evolved into an important regional event that brings together thousands of participants from across the Baltic states and beyond, serving as both a celebration and a platform for advancing equal rights. Vilnius hosted its first pride in 2010 amid protests and police protection.
