Lexington Pride returns on 28 June. The 17th annual Lexington Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Oliver Lewis Way (between S. Broadway and High Street) in Lexington, Kentucky. This marks a significant change as the festival returns to an outdoor venue after being held indoors at the Central Bank Center for the previous two years.
A Day of Belonging, Freedom, and Love
The Lexington Pride Festival offers something unique to everyone. It's a day to remember, protest, make change, connect, and learn. Attendees often describe the festival as a symbol of belonging, freedom, safety, acceptance, and love. It’s a celebration that underscores the importance of these values within the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond.
Exciting Activities and Live Entertainment
The festival promises a vibrant array of activities, including live entertainment, speakers, a diverse lineup of vendors, food and drink stalls, community booths, and engaging activities. There’s something for everyone, making it an inclusive event that welcomes all. The full and final lineup of events and performances will be announced closer to the date.
Affordable and Accessible Fun
The general admission fee is $10, with free entry for anyone under 18. Admission allows you to come and go throughout the day, enjoying all the entertainment, kids’ area, and many activities at no extra cost. Note that Central Bank Center is a cashless facility, so plan accordingly for food and vendor purchases.
A Premier Event for the LGBTQIA+ Community
As Central Kentucky's premier festival for the LGBTQIA+ community, the Lexington Pride Festival is a significant event. In 2023, over 20,000 individuals from across Kentucky and beyond attended, reflecting a demographically diverse group passionate about celebrating and uplifting intersectional LGBTQIA+ lives.
