Munich Gay Pride CSD 2025: parade, hotels and events
city centre München, Bavaria, Germany, Munich, Germany

Munich CSD 2025, happening from June 14 to 29, will play host to thousands of locals and tourists from the LGBTQ+ community and beyond, tying in with the popular Christopher Street Day celebrations.
At Marienplatz, the historic heart of Munich, a large main stage hosts two full days of live music, drag performances and more. Nearby, the Glockenbachviertel, Munich’s LGBTQ+ district, pulses with block parties, pop-up events, and after parties.
Munich Pride Parade
The Munich Pride Parade (PolitParade) 2025, known locally as the CSD PolitParade, is scheduled for Saturday, 28 June 2025, commencing at 12:00 PM. The parade will start at Mariahilfplatz, proceeding via Reichenbachbrücke and Fraunhoferstraße to Gärtnerplatz, then along Müllerstraße, Blumenstraße, and finally the Altstadtring to Maximilianstraße. For walking groups, the parade concludes at Max-Joseph-Platz. In case of large crowds, an alternative route may divert early toward Hofgarten.
Munich Pride History
Munich Pride, known officially as Christopher Street Day (CSD) München, has a rich history dating back to 1980, when a small group of activists first took to the streets to demand equality, visibility, and recognition for LGBTQ+ rights in Germany. Inspired by the Stonewall Riots and the global Pride movement, the event steadily grew from a political demonstration into one of Europe’s most celebrated Pride festivals. Over the decades, CSD München has transformed into a dynamic platform that blends activism with culture, drawing tens of thousands each year to its parade and week-long program of events.
