Nashville Pride 2025

Nashville Pride 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in downtown Nashville. As Tennessee's largest LGBTQ+ event, the annual Nashville Pride Festival and Parade draws more than 150,000 attendees each year, making it a significant cultural celebration in the Southern United States.

Nashville Pride Parade

The festival offers a comprehensive experience with entertainment running from 11 AM to 9 PM on Saturday and 11 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. For those seeking an enhanced experience, a VIP area will be available featuring exclusive food options, a dedicated bar, and premium viewing of the Main Stage performances. Expect a burst of color, music, and a whole lot of love! And guess what?

The entertainment lineup is always lit. Nashville is the music city so the Pride performers are always on point. More than 100 floats, vehicles, bands, and walking groups are expected. An estimated 40,000 spectators will be lining the parade route.

History and Significance

Nashville Pride has a rich history dating back to June 1988, when the first Nashville Pride parade took place with assistance from the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. That inaugural event saw approximately 250 people marching from Fannie Mae Dees Park to Centennial Park. Over the decades, the event has grown exponentially. The event has garnered national attention at times, including in 2010 when headlining performer Vanessa Carlton came out as bisexual during her set.
