New Orleans Black Pride Weekend 2025
New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, New Orleans, USA

Get ready for a fabulous time at Black Pride NOLA 2025! This is the 5-year anniversary celebration of NOLA Black Pride, so you know you're in for a treat.
From June 12th to 15th, the organizers of this event have prepared a weekend that's all about celebrating diversity and fostering positive change in the New Orleans Black LGBTQ+ community.
Four Days of Black Pride
The weekend opens with a Welcome Mixxer on Thursday, June 12, 6 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn, the official host hotel, to kick off pride weekend. On Friday June 13, a Queer Legacy Summit will be held at Hilton Garden Inn from 9 AM, and in the evening, “Boots & Dukes,” a country-western dance party with a mechanical bull contest, takes place at Culture Park starting at 10 PM. This is the perfect party to channel your inner Cowboy Carter!
Saturday, June 14 is the main community celebration: the Black Queer Community Festival takes over Armstrong Park from 11 AM–5 PM, free to the public! This daytime festival features live performances by local artists, dance troops, art vendors, food stalls, community info booths, and more. In 2024 the park hosted three stages (castle quarter, gardens, community stage) and accessible viewing areas.
At 5 PM on the same day, the official Pride Parade steps off from Armstrong Park and proceeds through downtown, celebrating Black LGBTQ+ pride (the route is similar to the city’s main Pride parade and enjoys a visible, colorful turnout). After the parade, the official after-party is Nightcap at The Hangar nightclub. This is a late-night club party headlined by local drag DJs like DJ Honey. It’s billed as THE party of Pride weekend, a chance for dancing in the French Quarter.
On Sunday, June 15, the mood is more laid-back family fun: a Gospel Drag Brunch mixes drag performances with live gospel choir and mouthwatering food. Also Sunday afternoon is the popular Pool Party with DJs and drag hosts encouraging guests to “get wet” and celebrate together.
