The New Orleans Halloween Carnival is an annual and longstanding weekend of incredible costuming and parties, all in aid of Project Lazarus.
The charity runs an assisted living home for those living with HIV/AIDS in New Orleans.
The Halloween Carnival takes place on Halloween weekend, this year the 26-28 October 2018, consisting of three events:

The Halloween Carnival takes place on Halloween weekend, this year the 26-28 October 2018, consisting of three events:
- Friday's 'Lazarus Ball', a black-tie gala and auction.
- Saturday's main event 'Sideshow', a huge dance party where costumes are obligatory! Acrobats, sideshow freaks and twisted drag queens.
- Sunday's 'Funhouse Pier Dance', a crazy tea dance with costume awards and world-renowned DJ Dan Slater.
