Puerto Rico Pride 2025: parade, route & performances

San Juan Pride will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, as the culmination of a week-long celebration of LGBTQ+ pride in Puerto Rico. This is the main Pride event in Puerto Rico, taking place in San Juan, the capital city.

Weeklong Festivities in Condado

Kick off the celebrations with dynamic parties throughout the week in San Juan’s gay district along Avenida Condado. Explore the bustling nightlife of Santurce, particularly around La Placita, bustling with restaurants and bars that become central hubs during Pride.

The Pride festivities will run from Monday, June 16 to Sunday, June 22, 2025, with various parties and events throughout the week leading up to the main parade.

Main Parade Celebration

The San Juan Pride Parade on June 22 will feature the following: The parade starts at Parque del Indio in Condado and proceeds along Ashford Avenue in Condado before ending at Parque del Tercer Milenio, Escambrón (a beachside park).

The parade typically begins in the early afternoon and features rainbow-colored floats, performers on stilts and roller skates, go-go dancers, drag personalities, and more.

Post-Parade Festivities at Parque del Tercer Milenio

After the parade, continue the celebration at Parque del Tercer Milenio with a large rally and performances organized by Colectivo Orgullo Arcoiris (Rainbow Pride Collective). This event includes speeches from community members, activists, and a display of pride and culture through various performances.

Extended Celebrations at Escambrón Beach

Extend your Pride experience at Escambrón Beach, where vendors and a large stage set the scene for continued celebrations and entertainment.

Other Pride Events in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico hosts several other Pride celebrations throughout June. Cabo Rojo Pride typically follows the week after San Juan Pride. Guayama Pride runs June 28-30, 2025 (with the parade on the 29th), and Rincon Pride takes place on Saturday, June 29, 2025.

Puerto Rico is known as the "LGBTQIA+ capital of the Caribbean" with at least four pride events annually (in San Juan, Cabo Rojo, Ponce, and Vieques).
