The city has a young, lively atmosphere thanks to its two universities, creating great nightlife and a music scene that's produced some of Britain's biggest bands. 

    Nottingham has a solid LGBTQ+ community centered around Broad Street, the city's official queer area complete with a rainbow crossings and gay bars.

      New Foresters is one of the most lively gay bars in Nottingham. There are DJs, drag, cabaret, and karaoke evenings, plus the drinks are pretty cheap!

      This bar has been a staple of Nottingham's gay scene since 1938.
