Once you have arrived at your accommodation and have checked in, you will be greeted by the group leaders who will gather the group and discuss the coming week's agenda. In the evening you will be invited for an aperitif on the rooftop along with your fellow bikers.

After breakfast, you will meet and make sure your bike is correctly adjusted and safe. Today's route will take you to Gian0caro. This was the main agriculture villas during the second world war. You will be given the opportunity to sample the local bread and homemade pastries. After your break, you will cycle to the Adriatic sea. Those who wish can take a dip in the sea, and it is a perfect place to take pictures of the beautiful coastline. The last stop will be at the Abbey of Santa Maria di Cerrate. Admire the Roman-inspired architecture. The group will then cycle back to Lecce for the evening.

You are free to do as you please. Visit the Baroque centre of the city or stop off at its chic bars such as ‘Quanto Basta’ for world-class cocktails created by trendy Italian Barmen. You have the option to join the group for an evening meal at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to a farmstead in Salento. Here you will put your culinary skills to the test where you will undergo a cooking class and learn how to prepare some traditional Salento dishes. Tasting is an essential part, so after you will enjoy your freshly prepared food with the group!

You will then jump back on your bike and head to Cesine. Enjoy the long cycle route which will take you through the countryside, passing olive tree fields and beautiful scenery. You will finally reach the sea, where you are free to enjoy a swim in the ocean or rest your legs and bathe in the glorious sunshine.

After breakfast, you will take a private transfer to Lago Azzurro which is also k0wn as The Blue Lake. After spending some time here you will then head back along the coastline where you can admire the beautiful scenery.

You will then reach Otranto where you will spend some time exploring before heading to see the beautiful creeks of Salento where you will see the cliffs of Sant’Andrea and the hidden caves of poetry. You will then head back to Lecce for dinner.

Today you will complete the longest ride of the trip, starting in Lecce and ending in Gallipoli. The route takes you inland where you will cycle through Coperti0 which is k0wn for its wine cellars and historic city. You will finally reach the city of Gallipoli.

The town is scattered with baroque styled architecture and the city is a network of alleyways and cobbled streets. You will check into your hotel and will have the rest of the day to explore the city or head to the beach.

Today is at your leisure to explore the beaches in Gallipoli. Head to the gay beach or head into town for a spot of sightseeing.

Today is your last bike ride of the trip, you will head to the beautiful town of Santa Maria al Bag0. From here it’s time for a0ther adventure as you will begin your kayak trip along the coast of Salento. You will be paddling in the nature reserve of Porto Selvaggio. After some splashing around, it’s time to head back for a farewell pizza and beer at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, say your final goodb1 as you depart for the airport for your return flight.
