If you are looking for a great-value apartment-style room near the popular Maspalamas sand dunes, then the Taboga is difficult to beat, being just across the road. 
 
These large, self-catering apartments feature a full kitchen with microwave, toaster and coffee machine. There is an LCD TV and free WiFi, and  fresh baguettes are delivered to your door in the morning! The resort also has a heated swimming pool and gardens. 
 
The <a title="Gay Beach" href="https://www.travelgay.com/venue/maspalomas-sand-dunes-and-gay-beach/">gay beach area at Hut 7</a> is about a 15-20 minute walk away. Nightlife-wise, the Taboga is about a 15-minute walk to the gay Yumbo Center. Limited availability, so book well in advance.

Boutique hotel located in the heart of Marbella. La Villa Marbella makes an excellent base in Marbella with Plaza de los Naranjos and the Old Quarter only a short walk away. Puerto Banus and Puerto Banus Marina are both within a short car ride from the hotel.

La Villa Marbella

The Casa Camper BCN is located in the Raval district, full of art galleries, restaurants and just a 2-minute walk from Plaza Catalu&ntilde;a. &nbsp;The Eixample gay district is a 5-minute walk (although&nbsp;<a title="Corinto Sauna" href="https://www.travelgay.com/venue/corinto-sauna/">Corinto Sauna</a>&nbsp;is just around the corner). The Gothic, 19th-century exterior hides one of our favorite boutique hotels in the city. &nbsp;Guest rooms are minimalist in style but very comfortable. Each 'room' has two areas (a bedroom and lounge) separated by a corridor, LCD TV, laptop-sized safe, hammock, iPod dock and free WiFi. Most rates include a full breakfast buffet and as many snacks as you like during the day (sandwiches, soup, pastries, bakery, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea). Nice touch, great location, excellent service and utterly cool!

The Mirador is few minutes' walk from the gay venues in town. During peak season, this hotel is in great demand, so book early.
