Farose Sauna - Saphan Kwai

Subject: Review / Complaint regarding Farose Sauna – Visit on July 16, 2026 Dear Sirs, Yesterday, on July 16, 2026, I visited the Farose Sauna, and I would like to leave more than just a brief comment about my experience. The entire visit was a complete disappointment, if not an outright scam. Aside from the fact that the location was hard to find and the round trip cost me over 300 Baht (and took about 3 ½ hours): There was not a single sauna available, which is the absolute minimum one would expect from a sauna establishment. The premises smelled terrible, and as for the cleanliness – it is better left unsaid. Since word of this has seemingly already spread, there were only one or two other men present. Even a price of 200 Baht is completely unreasonable for what is offered. It would be greatly appreciated if you could inform or warn future visitors about this. On a side note, the Chakran Sauna was a completely different experience; everything there was clean, well-maintained, and in great condition. Best regards, Wolfgang Hoppe

Arrived to said location on 23rd Dec 2019(Sunday Midnight) ; 0100 AM ; currently typing... this while in the location(like literally seated down on the ground floor sofa) anyways..... First experience, not what i hoped. Read the reviews, still i am so naive. It is true, the place is a ghost town, like literally i am even scared myself to enter most of the dark room which was empty as hell. Though there were few local guys apprpaches but none my taste, sorry. The upside to this was the gym, even tho' the worst ever experience in lifting, but at least i managed to chip in my training whilst visiting Bangkok. So yeah guys, not sure how it is on Fridays and Saturdays, just dont go on Sundays. You have been warned. Regards, Land below the wind.

2019 Aug. Friday night. Packed, 99.5% Thais/Asians. B200 clearly posted. Cleaner than expected. Steamroom and shower clean not slimy even at 9pm. But cubicles tissues in bin not cleared. Wasn't sure if it was underwear or nude night ... but many guys of all ages shapes & sizes walked around comfortably in the nude. Small mini towel provided. Comfortable spacious but crowded place to be.

I thought this place was closed long ago. Even some years back it was totally run down...

Horrible place, for 180 baht. Be careful there scared house, sauna is broken, place is very dirty, bring your towel - no towel!

I agree. Just around the corner from 39. Farose 1 is dirty and falling apart and some strange guys sleep there. Desk guys are not interested in the place. Few people there.

It is the most boring sauna in Bangkok I have visited. Dirty and very old. There are also no showers. I could not take a bath. It is also very small and only 8 guests at 9pm. Don't waste your time here.
