DC Pride 2024: parade, parties & events

DC Pride returns to the heart of the nation's capital from May 31 to June 9, 2024, with a series of events that showcase the vibrant diversity and spirit of the LGBTQ+ community in Washington, DC. This year, the Capital Pride Alliance invites everyone to participate in the myriad activities designed to celebrate, educate, and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

May 31, 2024: RIOT – Official Opening Party - Starts at 9 PM at Echo stage, featuring a lineup of local, national, and international queer artists.

June 1, 2024: DC Pride Pool Party - From June 6 to 9 at the Penthouse Pool Club & Lounge, enjoy evenings under the stars with themed parties and DJs.

June 8, 2024: Washington Pride Parade - Begins at 3:00 PM at 14th and T Streets, NW, and ends at Pennsylvania Avenue and 9th Street, NW. This new route for 2024 will showcase a lively procession, but will not pass through the historic Dupont neighbourhood.

June 8, 2024: Pride on The Pier - The annual Pride on the Pier Fireworks Show highlights the evening, ensuring the festivities end with a spectacular display.

June 8, 2024: Pride Block Party - This event is taking place from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM on 17th Street NW, between P and R Streets, featuring entertainment, food, and two beverage gardens with views of the parade.

June 9, 2024: Capital Pride Street Festival - From 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM along Pennsylvania Ave. NW between 3rd and 7th streets, this festival features three stages of entertainment, over 300 exhibitors, and a full day of activities.

June 9, 2024: Capital Pride Concert - The concert runs from 12 PM to 10 PM, with a Sunset Dance Party from 8 PM to 10 PM at the Capitol Stage. The Dupont and Monument Stages will feature a range of musical and DJ performances.
