Capital Pride (Ottawa)

Capital Pride 2025 brings the heart of Ottawa to life this August with a week-long celebration of queer joy, community, and resistance. Expect a packed schedule of events across the city — from fabulous drag brunches and outdoor parties to thought-provoking panels, youth programming, and iconic performances.

This year’s Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, August 24 at 1:00 PM, starting on Elgin Street and winding its way through Centretown, Ottawa’s unofficial gay village. Expect rainbow flags flying high, live music, dancers, local community groups, and a whole lot of glitter.
