Geoff MacCormack was David Bowie's friend and travelling companion. He took a series of photographs of Bowie from 1973 to 1976. These were peak years for Bowie, covering Ziggy Stardust, Diamond Dogs and Station To Station. From his looks to his songs, Bowie was on another level to his contemporaries. His music is as popular today as it was then - maybe even more so.

Bowie is the definition of iconic and he was the master of reinvention and serving lewks, paving the way for Madonna, Prince and Gaga. A collection of Geoff MacCormack's photos is on display at Brighton Museum. You'll need to book your ticket online.
