WorldPride Amsterdam 2026

WorldPride 2026 will run from the 25th of July until the 8th of August in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This will be the 10th edition of WorldPride that has been hosted at a range of major cities and has been billed as the best Pride event in the world.

Main events at WorldPride 2026

This week-long festival puts on a variety of events spanning across Amsterdam, including street parties, the canal parade, WorldPride conference, Pride Village, the Pride march, and the Human Rights Concert.

There is a wide range of activities that ensure that everyone will have a good time. LGBTQ+ sports associations are partnering with WorldPride to host sporting events that will allow participants to play volleyball, rugby, football, and tennis. 

Alternatively, if sports are not your cup of tea and you would like a more chilled WorldPride experience, there are outdoor cinemas where a multi-day film festival will be held. This is done in collaboration with ‘Roze Filmdagen’, the International Queer Migrant Film Festival, Cinemasia, and the Abou Nuwas Festival. Following the showings of the movies, there will be a Q&A that will also be accessible online.

Celebrating 25 years of marriage equality and home to 180 nationalities, Amsterdam is the most diverse as well as accepting city in the world. The beautiful city of Amsterdam has been asked to accommodate the WorldPride festival, and they have gladly accepted. 

Amsterdam is not only a gorgeous location there is also a rich history that can be explored during your time there. The arts and culture program of Amsterdam Pride has been working with their museums, theaters, art houses, and galleries to make WorldPride a festival with endless things to see.
