La Flora Resort Patong

As mentioned, this property is one of few that have direct access to the beach. Our beachfront pool villa was everything I could have dreamt of. The most amazing thing about this property is how it transforms so quickly. If you've never been to Patong, it is quite a lusty, noisy, hedonistic scene. As soon as you step into La Flora, the noise and bustle disappear - you only hear the sounds of waves crashing. I was impressed! Walking distance to the gay bars. A great place to stay.

This is arguably one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The staff all did a wonderful job. The welcome and easy check in were handled flawlessly, managers and concierge and service desk staff did a great jib, cleaners, room mattendants and food and beverage staff were all great. Even the security folk were friendly and polite, Hope to get back next year around the same time (pre Songkran), Great food, service and views at the Surface Restaurant and the pools were fantastic. Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable.

We've stayed at La Flora twice in the past five years - most recently in Dec 16. As mentioned above, the beach front location is great, with direct access to the sand from the hotel. Our room was a good size. There was a free minibar filled up everyday with soft drinks, the bed was big and comfortable. There was a couple of minor maintenence issues that could have been dealt with, but nothing that spolit our stay. Breakfast was good enough and of course at night time there is plenty of excellent resturants nearby as is the bars in Pardise Complex.

Outstanding room, comfortable bed and direct pool access. Room had a free mini-bar (beer, soft drinks refilled daily) complimentary tea and coffee and a luxurious bathroom . Wifi is always important to me and it worked really well everywhere in the hotel. The hotel was just next to the beach. It seems like plenty of guys from Paradise spend the day on the beach next to the hotel. The main walking street is just a few few steps from the lobby and the gay nightlife is less than 10 minutes walk through the colourful Bangala Road.

LaFlora Hotel is a great place to stay for the gay traveler. My husband and I stayed there for three nights and we had a blast. Within steps of the Patong gay beach and walking distance to the Paradise Complex, LaFlora is right in the heart of it all. Our concierge, Knot, took very good care of us and all the other hotel staff worked tirelessly to make our stay perfect. Our room was great, very clean and modern while overlooking the beach. Paying alittle more made our stay very romantic and memorable. We also got to experience the start of the Thai New Year or the Songkran Festival; one wet and wild, crazy time.

Great location just a few steps from the gay section on Patong Beach and right in the heart of the town - just about 5 minutes walk from Paradise Complex. Helpful staff who are as gay friendly as it is possible to be. Awesome pool, big rooms, free mini bar and fast WiFi. Will be back again next year!
