Downtown’s LA's largest gay bar, Precinct has quickly made a name for itself since opening in mid-2015.

From drag shows by the Boulet Brothers to events by perennial partier Mario Diaz, they’ve attracted many of LA’s contemporary nightlife legends. If downtown LA is the new West Hollywood, this is their Abbey.

Just a few blocks from the Ace Hotel, the self-dubbed "rock and roll gay bar" is a space for leather, lipstick, and bears.

The expansive 8500 ft² 2nd floor includes a bar, dance floor, stage and a wrap-around terrace with commanding views over the exposed brick decor. A perfect spot for a Sunday beer.

The LASH is a concept club, bar, performance and social space located in the historic core of downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood. This nights-only downtown watering hole lures the hip and the hipper with a lean, carefully curated wine and beer list, plus plenty of exotic cocktails.

The lofty, industrial space spans multiple rooms, outfitted with edgy accessories like subway tiles, broken mirrors, concrete and marble. The place feels a little more like a party at an exclusive, tucked-away Berlin club than it does a night out at your standard LA dance spot.

The DJ is known to spin the perfect combination of beat-heavy dance hits and tracks you can sing along to, and the dim spot provides a notoriously ideal (and sweaty) stage for dance floor make-outs.
