Aleje Jerozolimskie 57, Warsaw, Poland
CLOSED (October 2016).
BLOK Bar is located in Warsaw city centre, on the 6th floor of house that used to be a hospital, opposite the Palace of Culture and Science and Warsaw Central Railway Station.
BLOK Bar’s interior leaves no doubt about its “gay factor”. The murals, disco balls and dim red lights contribute to the gay atmosphere.
BLOK Bar’s monthly schedule includes a variety of events including BINGO, speed dating, disco parties (Fridays), house/techno parties and gay movie classics.
too much "alternative"
“If somebody likes the atmosphere of a hidden squat, then he would like this bar. The entrance is like in a horror movie, destroyed stairs and corridors, the 5th floor, everything seems to be very dirty. Maybe a great place for hipsters, but not for "average gay people". The quality and sort of music as weel as the air in the bar could be also much better...“

“I had a great time at this bar. The space, art, and decor are exactly what I'd expect of a cool bar un Warsaw. Defitinely worth the trip. And I do believe there is an elevator.“

Hipster Heaven in the Sky
“Warning. It's on the sixth floor. No elevator in sight. Crowd appeared to be mostly Polish. Mixed Gay men and women. Very hipsterish, so if you like Williamsburg, you'll like it. Crowd dynamics not optimal for solo patrons who don't speak Polish. Pretty nice once you climb up there. A bit smoky. Big plus...it appears to attract, an early crowd.“

cool bar! nice people! great music!
“...who would have expected Polish people in a Polish bar?! It's a miracle...
Come on, "T" (06-19-2015), think first before you write!
I am from Germany and even though I don't speak Polish apart from "hello" and "thank you", I had a wonderful evening with friendly people who showed great hospitality! The music was very nice and the bar is everything else but dirty!!! It is cool, different and creative. Yes, the bar is on the 6th floor, but so what?! Stairs don't hurt!
I must also point out the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, who are quick and friendly!“
