On March 27th 2024, the Thailand parliament voted on a bill that would legalize same-sex marriage and it passed. Now that it has passed, it is sent to the Thailand Senate and if it passes there it will still need royal approval. According to many critics, this bill will succeed. However, as of now, gay marriage is still not legal.
