2019’s pride march saw the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion whilst much of 2020’s event had to take place online for understandable reasons.
2021’s pride march will return in a virtual format and will be carrying the theme “The Fight Continues” to reflect on the legacy of pride’s past. If you believe in equality, compassion and love then this is the celebration to take part in, especially as Stonewall in New York was the birthplace of LGBTQ+ rights.
Among the major events is the NYC Pride March on June 27th, which will be presented in a virtual format as well as some in-person elements. The Rally will take place on June 25th, which will feature a diverse array of speakers and activists in a virtual format. PrideFest and Pride Island will also return on June 27th.
