What Is Winter Party Festival?

Winter Party Festival is an annual, week-long celebration of music, dance, and community, produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force to raise  funds for the LGBTQ+ movement. The festival was founded in 1994 as a single dance party on the beach and has since grown into one of the world’s most iconic LGBTQ+ festivals, drawing thousands of visitors from across the globe for a week of unforgettable experiences in Miami Beach.

Winter Party represents freedom, visibility, and purpose. It’s a place where the LGBTQ+ community can come together, be fully themselves, and feel deeply connected in a safe and inclusive enviornment.

Winter Party 2026 promises an extraordinary mix of events including:

• The Iconic Beach Party - The festival’s centerpiece, set against the beautiful Miami shoreline
• Mega Night Events - Evenings with internationally acclaimed DJs
• Sunset & Poolside Parties - Daytime events featuring cocktails, beats, and ocean views
• Wellness & Culture Programming - Yoga, panel discussions, art installations, and social mixers
• After-Hours & Closing Celebrations - Late-night events that last until the early morning

Our Purpose: Fundraising That Matters

Winter Party isn’t just about celebration, it’s also a powerful fundraising engine for LGBTQ+ advocacy. Produced by the National LGBTQ Task Force, the festival supports both national social justice work and local organizations in South Florida.

Since 2005, Winter Party, together with the Task Force Gala, has donated over $4 million through the LGBTQ+ Equity Fund, a partnership with The Miami Foundation and Our Fund Foundation. Nearly 90 organizations have received funding, supporting everything from health and housing services to youth outreach and cultural initiatives.
