May Wong (1905 -1961) was the first Asian American actress to become an international star, with a career spanning both silent and sound films, TV, stage and radio.

May Wong’s Café is a fitting tribute to this pioneering actress. Its Oriental yet English-influenced décor is adorned with pictures of May Wong from the films she starred in.

Popular with trendy gay executives, but all are welcome. The bar serves an extensive menu of inventive cocktails such as the ‘Tropical Orgy’ and Flaming Fiesta’ and affordable drinks.

OUT Bar is located within a Chinatown shophouse and features Hollywood-inspired décor.

This is the only bar hat plays a mix of Mandarin and English hits. Weekdays are a Chinese and English hits chill-out place. Weekends are all the dance hits; Canto Mando Nite every 2nd Saturday and Retro Nite last Saturday of the month.

The most popular gay bar in Singapore. Tantric gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights with party boys who down a few cocktails before heading to Taboo.

Launched in 2007, PLAY was a gay nightclub with themed parties and international guest DJ’s. In February 2014, their venue in Tanjong Pagar was closed.
