Something of a local institution, Alexandraplatz Bar is in homage to Berlin's warehouse aesthetic. It's popular with the local arty crowd and it attracts a lot of gay visitors.

The bar was opened by Penny Pattison and Bernadette Houde - who formed the band Lesbians on Ecstasy. A good spot if you're looking for an alternative queer vibe.
