    Felt scammed

We went to Dock late on a Monday night. It’s billed as a bar with cruising area but it was a room a few feet by a few feet across, with lockers for clothing. The “cruising area” must have been the 1m x 1m changing room in one corner? Because we asked and we’re told there were no other rooms. We had a drink each completely alone for maybe 40 mins and then got slugged nearly 4000 yen for the privilege. The owner had absolutely no qualms with asking us for that much to sit and talk quietly in an empty bar and have one drink. The whole experience kind of makes me wary of going into these tiny bars and then being extorted. Honestly, you’re better off sticking to the main areas.

Small but friendly place, often underwear party

Many Japanese but also foreigners come here to drink a beer and when the mood has reached the right point, people move to the backroom behind a curtain where action starts, it often results in group orgies which is nice as the backroom is not completely dark (some LED lamps are on). Had a lot of fun on a Saturday night.
