    Barcelona, Spain

Plaça de Catalunya is considered to be the city centre and the intersection of the “Old City” and the newer 19th century Eixample.

Leading off to the south is La Rambla, the most famous street in Barcelona.  This 1.2 km tree-lined pedestrian mall connects Plaça de Catalunya with the Port Vell area.  The side streets surrounding La Rambla are full of an amazing range of shops, restaurants and cafés.  La Rambla is just moments from the historic Gothic Quarter and Barcelona Cathedral.  The gay scene in Eixample is within walking distance of all the hotels listed below.
