The nation's capital, Washington D.C is holding it's Annual Capital Pride celebrations this week from June 7th -10th. The event is in full swing and there is plenty of fun to get involved with!
On Saturday 9th, over 200 floats, vehicles and marchers will join the Pride Parade to take off fromĀ 22nd & P St at 4:30 pm, adjacent to the Parade will be the Pride Block party which will include a beverage garden and entertainment.
Capital Pride Festival will close the festivities on Sunday 10th featuring 3 stages of live LGBTQ+ talent, over 300 exhibitors including community groups promoting products for the community as well as food and drink vendors. The festival will take place on America's main street, historic Pennsylvania Avenue and will be followed by the Sunset Dance Party from 8:00 - 10:00 pm.
