Bairro Alto / Chiado

Neigbouring Chiado is small district between Bairro Alto and Baixa (the city centre) and is full of upmarket shops and boutiques, cafes & theatres.

Why this hotel?: Walk to gay bars. Excellent dining. Very central.

9Hotel Mercy enjoys a great central location between Chiado and Bairro Alto districts, close to upmarket shops and restaurants, and walking distance to Trombeta Bath gay sauna.

The hotel features gorgeous rooms with cable TV, air conditioning, free WiFi, minibar, bathroom with a separate shower. High quality service and very knowledgable staff at the concierge.

We also recommend the hotel’s Umai restaurant, headed by master chef Paulo Morais. Umai serves up some of the best Asian food you will find in Lisbon.
