Show on mapWhy this hotel? Historic hotel. Excellent pool. Great location.
The legendary Raffles Le Royal dates back to the 1920's when architect Ernest Hébrard proposed a grand hotel as a part of his visionary to turn this Cambodian-French colonial city into a bustling, well-planned metropolis.
Having survived two World Wars and the Pol Pot regime, the hotel provided a safe haven for journalists covering the city invasion (the Raffles was the main set in the movie "The Killing Fields").
A landmark in its own right, the hotel has retained a lot of its colonial grandeur and has been updated with first-class facilities including a beautiful pool, gardens, restaurants and gym.
Great service, and we can testify to a very warm welcome being extended to gay guests.
