Nikos Tavern is one of the longest-running restaurants in Mykonos, having been established in 1976. It has a rustic charm and the seafood is excellent.

It’s a traditional Greek tavern and less fussy than some of the other establishments on the island. Always a popular choice and located on a lovely square by the seafront.

Local dishes are often prepared daily with Mr Nikos farm itself providing some of the ingredients and is all very reasonably priced.

A very popular destination with gay visitors, located on Super Paradise Beach to the south of Mykonos Town. This is the place to be during the season.

Open until 1am every day (except Sunday 12am), JackieO’ Beach Club is getting more popular every year. With nightly drag shows, you’ll find a beautiful setting to hang out.

JackieO’ Beach Club, run by the owners of JackieO’ Bar, features a 150-seat restaurant, a large open bar, swimming pool & jacuzzi, lounge areas and a boutique shop. Massage services and party boat trips with private DJ are offered.

Kiki’s Tavern is a stylish al fresco restaurant. You can get a taxi from Mykonos Town to Kiki’s Tavern quite easily. It’s charmingly off the beaten track. Kiki’s Tavern is very popular so may have to wait for a table if you don’t get there early enough.

It’s small and seating is limited but it’s well worth the trek. You’ll taste some of the finest and most authentic Greek food in Mykonos at Kiki’s Tavern. If you do have to wait in line you’ll be given a complimentary glass of rose.

Bakalo is a gay owned traditional Greek Eatery, and a very popular restaurant in Mykonos Town, Greece. It is also the sister restaurant of Catari Ristorante Italiano

The restaurant is set in a beautiful 18th century Mykonian house with a wishing well in the front yard, and has an intimate and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Catari Ristorante Italiano is a gay-owned Italian restaurant located near the old port, in Mykonos Town, Greece. It is also the sister restaurant of Bakalo Greek Eatery

The restaurant has a lovely courtyard where you dine under palm trees, with colorful tiles and furnishing reminding of the Amalfi coast, and is the ideal setting for an intimate dinner, while it caters at the same time to large groups, thanks to its impressive family stile communal table.

While the Chef, with his fully Italian brigade, prepares for you succulent starters, fresh pastas, mouth watering meat or fish mains, and, last but not least, the best crispy Neapolitan pizza of the island, you can sip one of the barman’s signature cocktails, or pick the best pairing from the extensive wine list. Scorpios Mykonos is definitely where the cool kids hang out. With a number of beach areas within its complex, you’ll also find a beautiful terrace and a restaurant located at this Paraga Beach hot spot.

The open-air terraces offer incredible views of the Mykonos coastline and whilst not exclusively gay, you’ll find a large gay clientele in attendance.

The restaurant offers organic, gourmet and predominantly vegetarian cuisine and the open-plan design allows large tables and gatherings, ideal for big parties and groups.

Cabanas on Scorpios Beach can be rented from 100 Euros a day, but must be reserved in advance. Sunset Beach is the perfect place to watch the sun go down as you sip on a cocktail. There is also live music most evenings.

Reservation priority is given to members of Soho House, so it’s recommended that you book well in advance to get a table or cabana. Expect it to be at the top end of most people’s price range!

Alemagou Beach Bar is a great place to relax in the sun with a cocktail. It’s located in a quiet bay away from the action of Mykonos Town. Sometimes there are beach parties and the atmosphere is much more lively.

The food at Alemagou Beach Bar is excellent. An air of genteel bohemia prevails.
